saw the comic con interview of him over at IGN.

I liked how the Immortals director said Henry is a great, sweet guy.

plus, I've read other reports that describe Henry as being a nice guy to deal with.

hopefully, those qualities shine through in his Clark/Superman.

Taking out the curls in his hair will take only a matter of minutes. And I think the actual filming of Henry in the suit is 2-3 months away. I expect that wavy hair to be present in Smallville and in Africa.

same here...even without ACTING he's got Superman written all over him. it's easy to see why he beat out the competition. he's just a very humble and classy gentleman that you can fully believe has high moral fiber. i'm SUPER excited about this movie solely because of him....

....and that's not even taking into account the REST of the stellar cast!

I remember hearing quotes exactly like this about Routh... And they were right both times! Looking forward to seeing what this Superman movie has to offer, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how Cavill handles the role.

Now that you have posted those pictures for comparison, it's totally obvious now. Wearing that dress shirt had to have been a conscious decision by Henry to conceal his build, or an edict issued by Snyder that Henry keeps his new physique under wraps as much as possible. The collar totally hides his traps which would likely give a good indication of how big he has gotten. If he'd worn a t-shirt all would have been revealed. I don't think it was a random choice. It's probably all part of a plan for the first costume reveal to have maximum impact.

haha...it was probably me saying that stuff too, hehe.....but i REEAALLY mean it this time!!!! seriously though, i know i had a lot of faith in Routh before any footage came out because he was a very humble guy but i didn't pay as much to acting as i do now. they both share a humbleness, however Routh doesn't carry the same charisma or charm that Cavill does. Routh is a likable guy but that's about it. on the other hand, i can't help but LOVE Cavill in the interviews he's done. i'm seriously developing a man-crush over this dude. no homo...he's just an incredibly likeable and charming man.

He better get a new trainer and nutritionist, and start putting on some serious muscle fast...or maybe they'll enhance him digitally in the movie. Then again, with his frame and proportions, more muscle might just make him look too stocky like it did with Bale.

I wasn't expecting Bane, but at least someone who looked more like Superman in physique, instead of Maguire's Spiderman. I seriously thought he hadn't really started working out yet.

Not really. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a frame like Routh or Reeve, or Jackman or even Chris Evans...so even more muscle might make him look even shorter and stockier. They may have reached his limit with this.

Honestly, it looks like at least 15 of those pounds went to his waist. Like I said, we're unfortunately not talking about someone with a very tall/broad looking frame, so they may need to help him with some padding and/or camera/CG enhancement. I think a big part of it is his head size too, in proportion to eth rest of him. To be fair, Bale is kinda' the same way.
