Now Jason Momoa was cast as Aquaman back in 2014, and he said he had to keep it a secret for around 4-5 years. So assuming he got cast back in 2010, that would put it in the time for the start of MOS. Maybe(and Im just speculating here) they were already planning an eventual JL movie even though they denied it publicly. I mean its not coincidence right that the two easter eggs of MOS end up being major players in the next movie. I have a feeling they had a rough outline that somehow MOS will kickstart a universe and eventually lead to a JL movie.

Yeah and when GL failed, they scrapped that and went ahead with MOS. I think they were just looking for a good starting point, and MOS was that, and thats why we are getting a JL movie this year. I'm just happy its happening.

As I said, Logan will have a bigger impact on the DCEU than anything else going forward. If Logan is as good as it looks and it makes bank it means DC can be completely unshackled from the MCU formula and can do their own thing.

The guy seems to be confident that the trailer will drop today. He even mentioned his "source" shared him some pics from the trailer, maybe he is trolling, but you're right. Rumors like these always (almost) appears to be false.

do you have a source for this? i have a hard time believing his agent most of all would keep quiet about him being cast in such a mega tentpole for 4 or 5 years. and he seems like an odd guy to cast in 2010, was GoT even on HBO then?

I just don't agree that it was the initial thought that MOS would lead off and just decided after the fact.
