...That post was me taking the p*ss, Cause i stopped taking this "debate" seriously with Rags claiming I was trying to discredit people by disagreeing with them, Octoberist commenting on my "intensity", and you telling me to "shut my trap".

I like Batman movies. I hope Batman wins.

If the rumors are true, then Bane is the villain that takes the cake.

Performance is not what matters here, it's the accomplishments that matter. Thus far, Bane has left Gotham in ruins and disabled the Bat.

I'm still alittle skeptical but Bosef stated that Bane does indeed incapacitate Batman.

I looked over the First Class thread, and he was correct 95% of the time (when arriving to his intelligence).

Say what you will but you, I and anyone else with reading ability of the English language saw your tone and your trying to make Batbax's comment seem outrageous in the context of TDK which is was not.

The superfluous reaction of not knowing what movie Batbax saw was clearly there to imply that not only did you disagree with what he was saying but that TDK supported the exact opposite, when in fact we've established the two of you are correct in the things you've individually said.

Perhaps you erred on words don't suddenly act like you were attacked when you posted what you did and how you did.

This "my character is better than your character" stuff is reminding me of that one Beavis & Butthead episode where two Star Trek nerds were fighting in a really girly way over which of their favorites was better while B&B just laughed their asses off.

yeah except the funny part is no one specifically stated "bane is better than batman" except one poster apparently is so defensive of batman that if someone represents liking bane he takes it as undermining batman, which i am fairly certain no one is doing.

I wasn't aware tha batman actually
wins against the joker. Was I watching a different film? with regards to ra's, I'm not really sure Bruce burning his house to the ground would be ra's getting the upper hand at first.

Batbax's post came off as sarcastic. I responded in kind.

I was disagreeing with what he was saying. Batman did save the day. This does mean that I felt that Joker was presented as wrong in what he was saying, or even that Batman's win was clean, even though you've seemingly been implying otherwise.

The Batman- there was no sarcasm whatsoever. You had stated in a previous post pretty definitevely that batman had won. I dont find that to be clear at all in TDK and since I dont find it to be clear I just wondered how someone could view the ending so differently. I didnt mean it to belittle or be sarcastic towards your opinion at all.

Okay, I'm going to nip this in the butt.

We've had two films with Christian Bale's Batman. While I'm sure we're all excited to see the conclusion to Bruce's story (we are all Batman fans, after all), it is no surprise that our discussions have been dominated by Bane. He's new. We haven't seen him before, and details concerning his background and characterization have been hazy at best. And of course, we've seen very little of Tom Hardy's actual performance - which is also entirely new.

That's why Bane is getting the spotlight at this point in time. It's not that we "Bane fans" prefer him to Batman or anything like that. It's just that he's an unknown factor for the most part, and that's incredibly exciting.
