you guys watch the video from the press conference? Nolan confirms snow!

What an awesome day :woot:

Also, I swung by the Lawrenceville set where they'll be shooting tomorrow, the street theyre shooting on just looks like a "typical" residential suburb. Lots of houses, no stores or major buildings.

they might as well bring out catwoman, bane and batman in full costume and have them wave at people for photo ops

"We'll be fighting on your streets a great deal" -Bale at conference.

This makes me veeerrrrrry happy. The fun starts tomorrow!

Yurka you are soooo lucky man! I'm so excited for tomorrow's filming, but I can't imagine how excited you are! It must be great to live there

Yeah I'm officially jealous of anyone who lives in Pittsburgh

The city definitely feels excited right now, I walked down Smithfield street the other day, (one of the streets they're covering in snow) and a toy/book store had their front window displayed with all Batman stuff and banners. :awesome:

Can't wait for it to start!

I could not embed the video itself, but this link is the video posted by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and has a 3:37 long summary of the press conference with clips from the Governor, Bale, Chris, and Emma.

Have there been any reports as to whether the Lawrenceville shoot will be in the daytime or night time? I also just heard that the Lawrenceville scene is a winter scene also, extras are being instructed to wear winter clothes.

Not sure, 41st street is closed until only 11pm tomorrow so maybe an evening scene? I'll be stopping over there after work tomorrow and snooping.

Snoop away!! I'm coming into town Friday, August 5th.....isn't as ridiculous as my participation in T3, but this is going to be better since I'm a bat-fanatic.

Hmmm yeah I dunno. If they need time to clean up it might wrap around dinner time. I work till 6 :csad:

Damn, yea I'm not sure what time I can sneak out, but I'll go over as soon as I'm done and try talking to people and getting info/pics.

Also, I heard that the batsignal will be on the Highmark building again tonight until midnight

Awww, that's cute! Batmania! :awesome: :brucebat:

Yurka, have you checked out Bigelow Boulevard yet? I read that it's a base camp for vehicles used in TDKR....?

So does the building for Blackgate even look like a prison? are there gates?

I told him about it earlier today. He said he is going to check it out tonight. He's out and about now, so we may be getting some more pictures soon. :woot:

There was nothing but reserved empty spaces at the nigella EDIT Bigelow blvd. (stupid iphone)Spot. And the exterior of now blackgate (woo!) is just the normal building exterior, no modifications. I'm out now but will be back in a couple hours to give more details.
