Regarding Finch's injury, Jonah Nolan says in the commentary he let Emerson choose what injury he got. Just a fun tidbit.

loved this weeks episode very Agatha Christe ish.

Rollins had an accomplice? Someone else tracking Finch?

When Finch gets the keys to go to the basement in Rollins house I thought it looked like someone was lurking in the other room.

They've given us bits and pieces of what happened to Finch and even Nathan Ingram. We know that Ingram tampered with the Machine to some degree, but we don't know exactly what he did. The Machine did consider him a threat so may have done something to warn Finch about his intentions.

I have a feeling that somebody or some group tried to have them killed and Finch's injuries are a result of that failed attempt. There are a lot of unquestioned answers about the partnership of Ingram and Finch so I could see that being touched upon in upcoming seasons, considering Ingram is dead and Finch is forced to live under an assumed name. I'm kind of figuring that maybe "Control" had something to do with their possible termination.

I think Ingram's death and Finch's injuries may well be a result of them clashing with each other over the machine.

I think I missed that, honestly it could be though. You can't take anything in this show for granted.

Speaking of Ingram what ever happened to his son Will ?

not sure and don't hold me to this, but I THINK he left the US to go to Europe... but I probably got it wrong...

the last that I definitely remember, he met with Alicia Corwin...

Who is everyone's favourite of the main 4?

Personally, Finch.

I just watched "Proteus" today. If not for the obvious identity of the killer (which was played in a very interesting way), Finch's scenes were top notch, I loved. I kinda wanted to add the killer to the rogues gallery, but I'm kind of glad they finished him off. Also, the storm is coming!

What a great new episode, nice to H.R. back in the game. Also nice little story with Lou the old man and how he brought Grace into the show once again. I'm hoping Harold and Grace get back together at some point.

It's also funny that Leon's number keeps popping up and John has to go and save him.

yeah I love when Leon realises that he is about to get killed then realises that it means John will come and save him.

That was hilarious but I love the reoccurring characters of this show it really brings a sense of depth to the mythology of the show.

Lou was very cool... I just loved his "not a loser" attitude and the look on his face when he cashed in his 20 mil in chips and then the looks he gave the casino owner and then Mr. Reese...

that look of supreme and pure satisfaction in a job well done... and then the look that Reese gave Lou of "way to go, Lou"... priceless...

what a great Person of Interest...

Watching this episode last night just made me really hope that genius student from a couple episodes back would become a recurring character.

Any time I see the actor who plays Leon in the credits, I just know he's going to have a funny scene with John and/or Finch. I really like all the recurring characters they have on the show. I wouldn't be surprised if they bring Shaw back near the end, as I think the show has basically set her up to return at some point.

Also, I really liked how they worked in some of the other parts of HR and how ruthless they are. It'll be interesting to see what the higher-ups in HR have planned.

POI was solid again this week.

The old guy was awesome. "Hey dumbass, I cheated" PUNCH! :awesome:

I hope this series ends with some kind of Ocean's 11 scheme where they get all the reoccurring minor characters to save/help John and Finch.

That would be great. :D

I called that other cop being a member of HR, and I still was surprised by the ending. Great episode, Leon reoccurring, Lou Mitchell--who should become another asset in some way--and of course the usual good stuff with John and Harold.

Finally caught up. The episode that Nolan directed had the best action in the series. Hopefully he directs some more episodes and a movie sometime.

I love that they keep adding to the mythology, or whatever you wanna call it. Show keeps getting better.
