Six weeks????????

next new episode will be "Trojan Horse" on April 4. The next new one will be on April 25
That makes it only a three week break since the last new episode was March 14th. So in total, there's 5 weeks of breaks for the next month and 2 new episodes. There's only 4 episodes left so they do kind of have to space them out until the season finale on May 9th.

Seems stupid to space episodes out close to the finale. It undercuts show momentum.

The old guy was awesome. "Hey dumbass, I cheated" PUNCH! :awesome:

I love that the "Badass Reese" theme comes in after Lou punches Makris. Even the old guy gets his badass moment. :woot:

Is this show good? I wanna see it one day but I don't wanna watch a show that might get cancelled! Is this show in danger of being cancelled? :(

I'm not sure about the demo numbers, but it almost gets 14-14.5 million viewers.

It's pretty big, even on CBS. It's safe.

It's not getting cancelled any time soon. Four big names attached to the show: Jonathan Nolan, JJ Abrams (his name is still on what I've seen though I don't believe he's done much after the pilot), Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson. When you're a show that has the writer of The Dark Knight, Jesus, Ben Linus and produced by JJ Abrams, it's hard to get canceled.

Thank you, everyone. I'm soooo happy!! I assume this is a detective-type show. Can't wait to see what Jonah Nolan has cooked up here.

More vigilante than detective. I mean, there's detective work and a few detective characters, but they're working from the outside of the law.

Think of it as reverse CSI. Instead of cops trying to figure out who killed the victim, these two are closer to vigilantes and are instead preventing the crime before it occurs.

That sounds even more awesome! Really stoked!

What are everyone's top 6 favourite episodes? Mine, in no order are:

"Relevance"
"Firewall"
"Flesh and Blood"
"The Contingency"
"Prisoner's Dilemma"
"Dead Reckoning"

Oh, we got a title for the second last episode of the season. "God Mode".

[BLACKOUT]Personally, I predict that we're getting a 3 part season finale. "Zero Day", the episode when the virus takes root in the machine. "God Mode", the episode where Greer takes control of the machine and then the finale where Reese and Finch finally get it back. [/BLACKOUT]

That sounds even more awesome! Really stoked!
It's kinda like Batman, with Jonah Nolan taking the surveillance aspect of THE DARK KNIGHT and going further with it here. The characters have their own rogues gallery. It's a cool show.

:waa: (tears of joy)

Seriously, you could equate some of the villains to Batman villains.

(possible minor spoilers)
[BLACKOUT]Elias[/BLACKOUT] - Black Mask
Greer - Riddler
Root - Hugo Strange and Riddler
HR - Gotham Police Force during the early years

And others but I'm too lazy to think of the others right now.

‘PERSON OF INTEREST’: GRACE WILL BE ‘CENTRAL’ TO END OF THE SEASON

If you love the Grace-Finch storyline on CBS’s Person of Interest, you’re going to dig what’s coming up.

“[Finch's] relationship with Grace is central to the end of the season,” Michael Emerson reveals to EW. “The audience will see her in the course of more flashbacks to a happier time, [and] we’ll see the beginnings of their relationship and it’s evolution.”

Also toward the end of the season, said Emerson, we can expect a return from Sarah Shahi as what Emerson refers to as the “very dangerous, unpredictable, kick-ass secret warrior” Samantha Shaw, and also expect the Machine to also be a a big part of the remaining episodes as the show explores “it’s past, its present and its future — if there is one.”

“Although ours is a series that is comprised of standalone episodes, we do have a kind of overarching mythology and that has to do with the life of the machine — it’s origins, its development and its current utility. Or it’s current danger. And so we will go back to that, which I think is an interesting theme to most of the viewers of the show,” he says. “That will be a big story that takes us out of season 2. “
