That seems likely. I just hope they get at least a little victory.

BTW what was the first scene at last night's ep? I think my DVR screwed up and cut off something. The first scene I got was Finch ordering Shaw's sandwich.

That was the first scene. :) It went from the intro to Samaritan pov looking around that street to that.

that WAS the opening first scene... all it was was that Harold was trying to make sure that Sameen's sandwich was made correctly while the sandwich-maker was looking at Harold like he was a pain-in-the-ass...

Ah, thanks! I thought I was missing something important because I don't recall seeing the usual opening sequence.

:shock

yeah the more I see it the more Im convinced its The Machine running the same scenario over again, and each different outcome ends up with a different member of the team dying.

I agree, especially once we hit [BLACKOUT]Reese pulling the pin. no way he'd get up after that, plus Root taking all those shots to the back and Shaw getting shot up. [/BLACKOUT] It'd make sense with the title.

the whole blue tint look like its from the Machines point of view

You know who I thought was going to be Samaritan's avatar? Claire, the girl who it recruited in the 2nd episode. I wonder if she'll have a visible role or her appearance was a one-shot.

Perhaps, though I thought it looked like it was the backup lights as the lights got cut. Though I suppose it could be that it turns out to be a trap, the scene goes blue and the machine runs some simulations that we see everyone die in before settling on the one where they live and we see that one actually play out in reality.

I was expecting her as well. I hope she'll be back. Also surprised we haven't seen Control yet this season.

she is going to appear in an upcoming episode (episode 16 I believe)

Those complaining about John/Finch not getting enough screen time anymore

It's the 'Women at a Party' effect it seems. When there are like 30% women at a party, most men will rate the numbers attending about equal. When there is 50% women, most men will rate that there were more women than men.

Synopsis for Control-Alt-Delete

HE HEAD OF SAMARITAN’S TEAM WITHIN THE GOVERNMENT BEGINS TO WONDER HOW MUCH CONTROL SHE REALLY HAS, ON “PERSON OF INTEREST,” TUESDAY, JAN. 13

“Control-Alt-Delete” – Control (Camryn Manheim), who oversees the handling of relevant numbers for the government, begins to question the methods and intentions of the Samaritan program. Also, alarming news reports of a pair of vigilantes rampaging through the Northeast begin to surface, on PERSON OF INTEREST, Tuesday, Jan. 13 (10:01-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

great to see her back

YES. I want to see an Enemy Team up between Team Machine and the Northern Lights to take down Samaritan.

That sounds interesting. I knew they wouldn't introduce the government team that Shaw had been a part of and then just let it go so easily. I fully expect that team to show and even possibly switch sides. It'll be nice to see Manheim's Control again.

Yay, Control. :woot:

I received a late Secret Santa gift the other day related to this show. :woot:
