Thanks. I know it will happen eventually, I just hope its on my own terms and not because I'm being forced to.
Haha we'll see. I'm still trying to prepare myself for if/when my friend takes me out for my birthday in a few weeks. She really plans on getting me messed up, so let's see just how much I enjoy that afterward.

Best advice is that you should go out and have fun, but don't feel pressured to drink if you don't want to. I have a few friends that live a straight edge lifestyle and have a great time going to bars and parties.

Don't think that in order to have a good time, you need to drink. Them not drinking didn't kill my buzz one bit.

I agree with the dmg. No need to feel pressured into drinking. I'd also caution that if you are going to drink don't get "smashed". Especially if you've never drank before because if you get smashed it's not going to be a good morning.

I'd say have a couple drinks and see how you feel first. Also...a little advice, "Beer before Liquor never sicker".

First of all, I think you should ask yourself why you're still friends with this guy, second, I think you should take a bag, fill it with oranges, door knobs, nickles, what have you, and use said bag to beat him to death or at least until you feel better.
