Maybe there is one or his character traits could be merged with another character. Remember filming doesn't start to sept. So they could still be casting a few remaining roles if there is any other big/supporting roles to cast.

The new ED-209 is what I would consider a perfect modernization of the original design.

I'm guessing the "RC-2000" is Robocop. Damn this is exciting.

That's a good way of putting it. I really do find it to carry enough of the classic ED-209 attributes to still be recognizable while still updating it and making it look new.

Also like the introduction of the aerial drones. Definitely ups the ante and isn't too far off from reality as I remember reading not too long ago that certain police stations are considering using surveillance drones. Another instance of life imitating art or rather vice versa.

Looks like they are going for a sleek anime, Deus Ex type mech. Very Good.

Love the new look of ED-209, it looks like it has a few elements of Kane in the design aswell. Just hope they keep it a bit clunky when it walks, like the original.

judging by the tease shots we've been getting of Robocop, it really seems that it will be based off those sketches that came out around the time when Aronofsky was still attached to direct.

Ehhhhh, not really. They seem entirely different. Better. I didn't actually like those sketches. They were on the right track though. They've had years to fine-tune the design though.

The new Robo design seems to be more muscle based in the sense of following the human anatomy more closely. You can even see his traps protruding.

As i dont have a working computer i cant do this my self. But someone should take that shoulder shot we have of RC-2000 and copy and flip it, it might give us a better look as to what we will be getting.

I think Robocop this time will look like a combo of Ninja Raiden from MGS4 and the traditional Robocop.
