I think they're just taking it in a different direction. Murphy has some of his human memories at first, but it seems they're either removed or overridden later in the movie. Gary Oldman has a line in one of the trailers, saying Alex's programming is being undone by "the human component".

Can some one tell me what is SLJ character is about? I still don't get what he's there to do other than promote RoboCop to people.

Boddicker's a classic example of the villain who knows perfectly well he's evil, and relishes every moment of it. The only time he shows genuine fear is when Murphy has him by the neck in the drug warehouse.

Exactly, and we dont get villains like that anymore which is a shame, Boddicker was awesome, how anyone can say otherwise is beyond me.

Best trailer yet, I say. I hope the voice has the robotic twang of the first trailer, though.

Good new trailer, I have liked them all so far, the voice was better with the robotic twang though I will agree on that. Some CGI shots still need some work also, but the movie doesnt come out for a few months yet.

It's strange, I remember people complaining about the voice in trailer 1, now they have changed it and people complain they want the old one back. So much flip flopping on these boards (SHH).

I have to say..... I have issues with both the silver and black suits.

The Silver suit is almost too robotic, and the Black suit isn't robotic enough. Though, the latter is only that way due to the exposed fabric parts of the suit; just doesnt look solid enough.

No he's just a salesman well as far as I can tell.

I wonder if the voice change was to minimize the "twanginess" of his voice. I mean, Weller's voice sounded as if he hasn't gotten any enhancements done (I know the voice has been enhanced, it's that it's so subtle). Maybe the monotony of his voice is symbolic of his mechanized personality (or lack thereof).

What I especially like about the international trailer. Looks like we're getting the nuanced RoboCop shooting like a robot performance. This has me giddy .
