Here's a good look at the different types of play-styles in the game.

I think those of us who were concerned about it leaning more towards action or stealth have nothing to worry about.
No it's a sequel they just gave new ways to approach a mission and they have a younger voice actor. but that's about it.
I completely agree. The more I see of the game, the more I'm loving it. But there's still that weird factor of seeing an older Fisher sound and look like he's never been younger. I don't mind the loss of Ironside, but its just weird to think of this a sequel. I can understand why its a sequel from a storyline perspective, but if this were a film series, I doubt the same change would have happened.Looks good. I don't really mind the new Fisher, i just wish they would of used the opportunity to reboot the series rather than try and pass a younger looking and sounding Fisher off as a sequel.
in other words alot of my buddies that I play games with as I've stated what their issue's were before with the SC titles prior to conviction. some of them have serious patience issues. I guess I'm the more rounded one. well now they have no reason not to join on in. what ever.
Yeah, I've tried to get my brother into the older games and he always said he hated stealth games like this because it requires you to have patience, and he prefers something with a more "run-and-gun" style of play. But I agree, for me it's never been an issue because I like how being stealthy is a part of the strategy. Even in other games that offer a choice of style, I always go to stealth first.
Yeah, and honestly, I wouldn't say its just an issue with gaming. I think with the way technology has changed in the past 5-10 years, people have just become very impatient in general. But that's why I like games that let you do something that requires a little patience because it feels worth it when you do something cool. Whether it lining up a shot with a sniper, and holding your breath for an extra second so you can nail that headshot, or carefully getting into a position so you can sneak up and knock down a guard in a cool way is always awesome.Yea im in the same boat, and unfortunately there isnt enough of us out there to justify the costs it takes to make these games successful the way Ubi wants them to be. You could get away with that 10 years ago when SC dropped, you can't do that today.
