dude, people are questioning whether nolan's version of the batwing can outrun missiles...an aircraft (which is totally fictional and we don't really know anything about other than it flies and batman pilots it) out-running/maneuvering fictional missiles in an action movie. some of these things are obviously not plot-holes, some of them are obviously not even errors of perceived poor direction/photography. some of it is just ridiculous nit-picking (i really hate using that word).

not all of it is though! i've had some really good conversations with people who disagree with my perception of the movie but still liked it as well as people who just hated the movie.

Weird. The content agrees yet the sentencing doesn't.

i got the impression she seduced him, made him believe they were in love. they said something to each other after the crazyness went down but don't remember what. also he seemed drunk to me, but this is arguably one of the things i paid the least attention to.

remember the south carolina governor who ran away to argentina without telling anyone...i think it was that kinda situation. she talked about convincing a guy at the masquerade to run away with her to ibiza (a ploy to rob him of course)

So there was no cut and dry answer to this? Did he know he was considered missing to the police? Does anyone else want to weigh in.

he fought away the other prisoners to protect talia's innocence (bad idea to throw a pretty lady and her young daughter into a pit full of angry prisoners) - it gave talia the opportunity to escape

as selina leaves the bar she goes up to the senator and they exchange these words:

Selina (pointing to a gunshot wound): "Keep some pressure on that sweetheart."
Senator (as Selina walks away): "Call me?"

Ok but after his injury who gave him the mask?

His face was wrapped in bandages in the prison. A young Ra's repelled into the prison and saved Bane upon Talia's request. He was trained, like Bruce, to become a central figure in the LoS but was excommunicated by Ra's, who did not approve of Bane's methods. I believe it was Talia or some other member of the LoS that created the mask to help alleviate the pain.

It was probably Ras himself who got him the mask. It wasn't until Bane was trained that he was excommunicated

I kinda would've liked to have seen Bane's death play out in such a way that they could've added in Hans Zimmer's "defeat" music. The cue that plays when Ra's goes over in BB and Joker falling in TDK. I know Talia got it this time around, but...Bane.

Would have been cool if they had that in the movie, the prototype mask could have had a few tubes at the back of the mask or something, something similar to his look in the comics.

He probably didn't know. Too much drinking and who knows what else.

I'd guess it would be Talia. Don't know if she's aware of Applied Sciences though.

Yeah... That would've been a nice closure for him. He comes home and sees his family waiting for him. They all embrace each other and then he sees the Batsignal flashing at the sky. He smiles.

Speaking of which, honestly, I wouldn't have minded if they had inserted more shots of various people watching Bane's announcement regarding Harvey's crimes, with Gordon's family being one of the people shown watching the television.

That, and I think it would have been nice to see Gordon finally come on the television screen and give his take/response on the whole deal to the people of Gotham and managing at the same time to avoid getting caught.

Not at all. Your overall point seemed to agree with what people were saying, and yet the way it was written seemed to disagree.

He was watching the TV report that showed him as missing.

Seemed to me bearing in mind his appearence and manner generally, that he was either drunk or drugged.
