Do you guys think my theater will be sold out on opening day if I don't get my tickets until I'm at the theater?

It could be sold out. Buy the tickets off of fandango.com or movietickets.com

Ok I think I might just tell my friends to do that too. I went to the Avengers with out buying tickets before hand, and they were sold out. Then I had to go to another theater 30 minutes away.

I decided to pre-order for TAS-M and TDKR, but there were still tickets available for the midnight showing of Avengers at the theatre I went to.

Oh, and...Batman won't die, lol.

I always get my tickets when I'm gonna see the movie. I might make my Dad get tickets for Batman on his way home from work the day before I see it though.

Hmm interesting. The Fandango commercial for TASM on this site has a countdown that says, "The Untold Story Begins in..." I'm guessing they didn't cut anything important to the plot, and the rumor about the Ang Lee-ification of the origin was just a lie.

We'll probably start seeing more reviews tomorrow, yes? It's a shame I'm going to be out of town during the midnight screening so I won't be able to see this with my friend who's favorite superhero is Spider-Man.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Nolan kills Bruce Wayne and has "John Blake" take up the mantle. It seems very... logical, actually.

Ugh. Let's hope not.
Wayne = Batman. If Batman ends, the 'man' Wayne needs to end or Wayne as Batman needs to end.

But that's just the point: Wayne =/= Batman, not in Nolan's world.

"As a man, I'm flesh and blood. I can be ignored. I can be destroyed. But as a symbol? As a symbol, I can be incorruptible. I can be everlasting."

Then look at TDK. The whole subplot about Bruce looking to Harvey as a replacement? Bruce can't be Batman forever. But Batman, as a symbol, must last forever.

"Look, whoever the Batman is, he doesn't want to do this for the rest of his life. How could he? Batman's looking for someone to take up his mantle."

And the whole point of TDK is that Gotham needs a hero with a face. A symbol like Batman can only be so inspirational.

what if is like V for Vendetta, like the whole city dressed up like Batman against bane´s army, could happen :hehe:

Are there any early screenings left before July 6th?

It REALLY bugs me that so many reviews states that the 3D isn't all that, and that it's only striking in a few sequences! VERY irritating to me, seeing how I really thought this here film would be one of the few cases where a movie truly showed 3D's full potential!! And it seemed so fitting for Spidey! :-( I'm bummed out that it doesn't seem to be all that good... damn

Maybe the 3D wasn´t great but i only care about the movie:yay:

^ I do too... It's just that filmmakers and crew have been gushing about the 3D since the beginning of this thing, calling the new Red Epic camera's 3D capabilities outstanding, comparing it to the 3D of Avatar. Why the **** is it so hard to make good use of 3D in movies? Should Avatar really remain the only freaken flick where it actually, truly worked!? I want ASM to deliver on that front as well! :-(

I thought Toy Story 3 was a good use of the medium. But I suppose it's easier with animation, eh?

I wouldn't trip about it Naite, 3D is most definitely a subjective thing. It's all good, man. You may love it when you see it:woot:

This is a good example of 3D being hit or miss with just about everyone, because I thought the 3D in Toy Story 3 was pretty bad :funny:

The best use of 3D that I've seen (aside from Avatar) is definitely Transformers 3, but that's just me.
