Looking past that Hank Pym probably won't interact with the Avengers and obviously won't create Ultron, I like the fact that Pym will have been Ant-man in the 60s/70s and that superheroes even if secret ones have existed beyond just the past few years in the MCU, so far it seems Cap was in the 40s then the next one was Iron man in the late 2000s.

It shows that theres still secrets in the MCU that havent been revealed yet. We know about Cap, the first real super hero but not about Hank Pym, the scientist who discovered Pym particles. Did he work for SHIELD? Does Nick Fury know him? Tony? lots of questions.

If Hank is in the '60s what happens to Jan? Will she be the same as Pym or change it so she's with Lang?

Yeah maybe the original Wasp Janet Van Dyne was w/ Hank in the 60s too, but E. Lilly will be her and Hanks daughter who takes over for her mother. Another Watchmen-esque touch.

I really hope Hank Pym eventually joins the Avengers even if he's mostly just a science guy. He has all this history with them in the comics and to completely write that out would be extremely disappointing. I'm still a little bummed that they made Hank so much older and it's really only the fact that he's being portrayed by Michael Douglas that's keeping me interested. Janet definitely needs to be an Avenger and Hank Pym would be a good way to bring her into the team.

I hope they don't go that route, it just seems really lazy. I don't really like the idea of Hank Pym being a father he's not father material. A much easier route would be to have her be Hank's assistant and the daughter of his close friend who he sort of looks after following her father's death. They can drop the romantic angle obviously, their relationship was weird enough in the comics as is.

They could make Janet Hank Pym's surrogate daughter. Hank could of looked out for her after her real father dies. Hank could of been a friend or colleague of her dad vernon who was also a scientist.

^^ Patrick Wilson might be playing young Hank Pym: Sorta reminds me of Watchmen, how Night Owl II hangs up his suit and retires then comes back later on. Only this time itll be Scott Lang as Anty.

Considering young Pym's Ant-Man prologue is supposed to take place in the sixties and Michael Douglas is playing Pym his own age then it would be unlikely Patrick Wilson would play Pym. Wilson is 40 and Pym would be 16-26 in the sixties.

I think Marvel might either hire a young actor to play the younger Pym or do a reverse Peggy Carter in Captain America The Winter Soldier and have the special effects people make Douglas younger like they made Hayley Atwell older.

I think Patrick Wilson is possibly a villain in Ant-Man.

^^ Yeah your right, I was thinking Wilson was playing a younger Pym for some reason. But hes too old if it takes place in the 60s. A younger Michael Douglas through CGI would be really cool!

Tony could bring up the fact that Pym was a mentor/colleague of his and that Ultron's design is partially based off of Pym's work that he added to. As for Janet, making her Pym's daughter (or adopted daughter) could work.

I think that Ultron will be something dug out of SHIELD worked on by Howard Stark, and others, and it was initially created from Pym's work.

Unlike with Dr. Strange, there is no legit evidence that Black Panther is coming. It's all heresay and speculation.
