Ya, but the problem is only Nick Fury is in Europe hunting down remnants of Hydra right now as explained to us in CA:TWS and remember that was the biggest segue into AOU.

There's plenty of time to cover how they reconnect given that the run time is nearly 2.5 hours.

Its not about time, Rock. Its artistic choice. And Fury´s place after TWS is not a problem. You just get to the Avengers in theyre movies helping him after he finds out they were too much for him. He is not Rambo.

You need to rewatch Godfather part 2. The Corleones are in Nevada, not New York. New York has been given to his lietunents, Pentangeli, altough Michael is still the head of the family. Michael is already doing big business with Roth and trying to legalize the family with the casinos. He is respected now, and feared. Thats NOT how the first Godfather ended. At all.

Your problem is that you want the sequel to continuye excactly where the movies ended, and that is not the Godfather route. I apreciate your preference, but the method you want is not the only effective one.

"Fredo! Bring out the peppas and sauzeech eh?!"

I love The Godfather films and I love The Avengers.

Yep, very much dig the rest of the report, just not happy that it gives eh-maybe's report ground to stand on. Still adamant that Joss Whedon writes better than that reported romance crap...

Hopefully we see classic-Ultron atleast once in the film. The details sound good, really looking forward to seeing trailers and previews

So Ulty will have that red light underneath his armor. Isnt that supposed to be from a nuclear furnace or something?

ugh I can't see that site here. can someone copy and paste?

here you go

According to Kevin Feige, the new Avengers Tower is the largest ever for a Marvel film, featuring a large landing platform and garage for the new Quinjet within a large space that is full of windows, screens, and "techno stuff" but "really chic" with a lab directly in the middle where Stark and Banner work together.

There will, in fact, be a "party" or "celebratory" scene that will take place early in the film, which we've heard rumors ofalready and is said to be "Stark style" in nature, meaning excessive and over-the-top (IRON MAN 2, anyone?)
- The Quinjet redesign features more chairs to accommodate all Avengers, much like the X-Men's Blackbird. The overall design is less military and more sleek with a bigger array of weaponry.
- Black Widow's costume update will feature not only the previously reported batons, but her suit is said to be more "TRON-style" in nature with blue lights and electricity around the suit. Her enemies will now receive electric shocks or a "widow's sting" when she hits them, giving her more of a "superhero" edge amongst her super-powered counterparts.
- More corroboration about Hulk's "extendable" pants (dark purple in color) that expand and shrink with his Hulk/Banner transitions and will also feature the Avengers "A" logo on it that adorns all new costumes for the team.

- Stark wears the Mark 43, a suit with less gold on it than IRON MAN 3, but still more than in THE AVENGERS. The chest core reactor will be back to the circular shape favored by director Joss Whedon. The Mark 44 is the Hulkbuster and will be his other suit in the film.
- As reported before, Ultron will be more than just a helmet, with his full face being articulated, including the mouth. All movements from James Spader's face are used to bring more personality to the villain. The suit mock-up is reminiscent of the weapon that Agent Coulson used to shoot Loki in THE AVENGERS, which was made from the parts of the defeated Destroyer in THOR. The suit is said to have a "red firelight underneath, giving him a kind of 'Balrog' effect from LOTR."

^^ Yep, this is gonna be The Next Level MCU Super Hero stuff.

Not sure how I feel about Articulable Ultron face or Widow's costume being tron like

Theres gonna be lots of pretty lights in this one! :)

HNNNNGGGGHHHH I need to see Ultron noowwwww.

That description sounds fantastic. Also liking the new Quinjet design and Widow suit changes.

Everything sounds absolutely fantastic!!! A fully articulated Ultron, Widow's Sting, Vision!!!

VISION!!

I'm withholding judgment about the romance stuff in AoU. Honestly though, I felt those vibes between
Banner and Widow
big time in Avengers. Lots of chemistry I thought between the actors.

I am really, really interested to see where they take Wanda's character though.

Hate to say it but this romance aspect in AOU sounds intriguing to me. I want to see what its all about now.

I think when Bruce yelled "STOP LYING TO ME!!" at Natasha, she got secretly turned on. It was almost like a lover's anger type moment. ;)

That scene was pretty charged between them. A little bantering, a little deep talk. I did kind of think they were going to develop something between them.

Then Cap 2 happened and Stevetasha happened and now I have to recalibrate all my ship fanning.

I wonder if there might be a little something with Clint and Wanda?

Natasha must like angry dudes I guess. I was under the assumption Clint and her were an item.

I never assumed anything other than Natasha and Clint were really, really close, both in the past and now.

I wasn't intending to return back to that discussion, but that does speak volumes about both characters that, if they were intimate in the past, they still managed to be basically best friends or just really super close. I like Clint and Natasha either way. But I'm super open to relationship juggling now that the characters have been established.

And like I said, Whedon may explore something between Wanda and Clint or JARVision/Wanda/Clint like it is in the comics.

Every movie black widow has been in thus far the fans have speculated she would be dating a different hero in every one. She never has. This will be no different. She'll just share buddy buddy scenes with one character more than the rest. She's a free agent.

I just really want the interactions between all the characters, romantic or not.

This may or may not include Steve/Tony and Steve/Thor… YES I WENT THERE!! :ninja:

I really like what I'm reading about her costume. It will change it up a bit from being boring black leather. I think we've had enough of that over the years. I'm sure it will still be black but the lights will shake it up a bit.

These details just show that the MCU is taking things to the next step in terms of making everything more super hero-ey. Theyve come a long way since Iron Man 1 which started with a metal suit!

Yeah, I don't think it'll be lit up the whole time, but probably when she's fighting. It might be a really cool effect, and something to augment her already BAMF hand-to-hand/stealth combat skills.

I love Natasha so much!

I actually think a Banner/Widow romance could work. I can buy it more than Widow/Cap or Widow/Hawkeye.

And in the first Avengers there was a bit of chemistry there.

My bad for not wanting a lazy retcon done thru dialogue. Comparing the structure of Godfather movies to these CBM's is a reach.

Didn't Fury say he was going to Europe to investigate Hydra at the end of TWS? He's on recon, when he finds Hydra bases he and his presumably small squad of loyalists can't take down he calls in "re-reinforcements" ie The Avengers.

Job done.
