So here's a random question for everyone .......

Would they ever show Thor hitting a human (like a Hyrda agent) with his Mjolnir? I mean theoretically that would turn into one giant bloody mess wouldn't it?

*sigh* I :hrt: the sleeveless look so much :oldrazz: :funny:

Pretty much everyone does. It's probably one of the most "right" decisions Joss made when it came to the Avengers. Nothing says badass like a guy wearing sleeveless viking armor. LOL

Something tells me the Avengers won't be too merciful with Hydra lol, they going to get demolished, now the def won't show Thor decimating hydra agents but I expect them to hit them very very hard insinuating their death lol

That'd be cool, maybe just slightly jab at them (think Bruce Lee's one inch punch) sending them flying across the set.

I guess that would depend how hard he hit them

He's infinitely more powerful than a human. I imagine that would be hard to control, especially with that mighty Mjnolir. I guess he could flick them or something.

Overall I like the sleeveless look...and prefer it for Thor...... with one reservation here.....the hairy armpit. I realize it's accentuated in the still shots and probably won't be so bad in action.....but aesthetically in these stills it turns me off.....superhero-wise.

Well yea, more or less, though I bet even that'd be hell of a hit to take.

Id really like to see THOR go Hammer Time on HYDRA and have it be bloody for a change. Like he takes a whole bunch of em out and the aftermath is like the scene in Kill Bill at the House of Blue Leaves. haha

Geez...when just a human hits another human with a hammer it's not pretty..................maybe Thor would "holster" Mjolnir when physically confronting humans.....or perhaps just the shock wave of a swinging (not hitting tho) manuever would put humans down.....or by reducing the voltage he could use Mjolnir as a super taser.

I think he could kill without actually hitting them directly. Like striking the hammer on the ground and knocking them out from the force.

Unless the guy has really really really skinny wimpy arms with absolutely no muscle on them. :funny: Part of what makes me love this look so much with Thor is that - other than scenes where he's shirtless (which I don't mind either :oldrazz:) - it really does give a chance/help show off the work that Hemsworth has done to become Thor. His arms are, IMO, impressive and... well... just beautiful (Sorry, I'm such a fangirl :funny:)

Can you imagine if Thor fans were like wolverine fans?

"It's about a guy who swings a hammer. R rated is the only way to go! GoT violence!"

Then think how disappointed they would be when thor 2 was confirmed to be pg13 again. Haha
"They had the GoT director, the studio should have let him cut loose. Crush those skulls!"

Re: Quicksilver/Johnson size - some would prefer a slighter build as befitting a long-distance runner [which theyve gone for with the Flash] whereas some favour a more muscular build as seen in 100 metre sprinters [which Johnson looks like] but both builds are equally viable. I prefer the leaner/slighter build myself but hey ho. I have no problem whatsoever with the way Johnson looks. In fact, I applaud his gains.

IMO there is no right or wrong in this one, only personal preference, so to bash someone who has a contrasting opinion is a bit off. Now if Johnson wasnt in any kind of shape at all, then there would be merit for complaint.

IMO, Quicksilver probably should have a more muscular build. The reason is that, in the comics, Pietro's speed does derive slightly from physical changes in his body. Sure, its not all muscles, or even mostly, but it is an occasional plot point ( for instance, he can leg press over a ton ).

Add a deafening thunder clap sound to that manuever........

Oh snap! Id love to see THOR summon lightning and zap HYDRA dudes into dust too. Remember how he microwaved the Leviathan? Awesome!

Wasn't it ultimately 3 Leviathan's? 2 were zapped and taken out at the mouth of the portal, and then the 1 that he zapped when he and Hulk were tag-teaming it.

I think with that one Portal move...Thor has the highest kill count in TA....

Who has the highest HUMAN (or sentient humanoid) kill count? I think Cap has the edge now.

Silver: Was it 3? I was thinking it was one. OK even better!

Thor probably has the largest from his years of battle. Then Cap. Then probably Natasha and Hawkeye. And who knows about how many rampages the Hulk has been on.

yeah if you're talking sentient humanoids, then Thor is probably into tens of thousands, you would assume he has been pretty much in battle a lot of his 1000 year life and we've seen him in battle, he gets through enemies at a fast rate
