Not at all. Which part are you referring to?Is anyone else seeing a crude Bat design on the hood of the car
I don't see it, personally. It doesn't really fit the tone of the film from what we've seen so far.
It's not wrong. The actual bat symbol on his chest barely resembles a bat, and the bike is just a standard bike with the windshield removed. It's not there, but what you said is also wrong. The Batbike has a pretty blatant Bat front.

What makes you believe this? There’s such things as bullet proof tires. Exposed engines is entirely differentRegarding the engine being exposed, it’s no more than afflecks car having massive tyres that could be shot at that would spiral the car. I believe there will be a function that will cover it at any point he needs. Again it could be a learning curve for him, he may go for visual flair and then messes up and revamps the car like his suit.
No, it is wrong. As ArmsHeldOut confirmed , the bike is a modded BMW military/police model with a bigger engine, other performance related enhancements, and a custom Bat-shaped cowl/front fairing. It is perfectly suitable as a Batcycle and there is a lot of logic and thinking behind the design. It may not be the take you want, but it is not lazy as you are implying. It's not wrong. I'm not implying it's lazy. I'm implying that they're deliberately trying to outdo Nolan in the 'grounded' category. No, it is wrong. So far it doesn't seem like there are any metas in this movie and we don't know what Matt Reeves Mad Hatter would be like.If you Think Reeves and Co set out to just make "Nolan 2.0" or anything like that you just sound ignorant. Reeves has worked on this for 3+ years and he's in some sort of competition with Nolan that he just has to deliberately make his films more grounded? That's ridiculous, and the theory immediately falls apart with any Meta that is introduced. Even Hatter blurs the lines.

It’s definitely an homage to something like this but it’ll also have a technical purpose as well. Feel free to quote this when the movie is released.
