If we are to get a car chase in this, I'd like to see something more akin to 'Bullitt' that is built on suspense and then skilled-driving for the most part. As opposed to the more crash, bang, wallop variety that we get nowadays in most movie car chases.
If you want a good more modern example PepS, I would say the car chase in Jack Reacher fits that profile. IMHO, Chris McQuarrie is brilliant at doing unique modern twists on movie car chases.
Yeah, I also wondered about those flames out from the hood. I'm soo looking forward seeing/learning more about this car.The fire coming out of the hood has me curious is this is a dual engine Batmobile. Dual engine vehicles are not unheard of like for example the Jeep Cyclone which has a engine in the front and rear.
Hard agree. This car and the Burtonmobile are pretty much neck and neck for me. I hope they keep this aesthetic and vibe as the series evolves.Burton, 66 and the new one are def my faves. I'm not a fan at all of Batman having tanks and super militarized tech. Very glad Lucius Fox isn't in this - I'm hoping the whole trilogy keeps the grounded street vibes even if they do add more weird and fantastical elements throughout. Hopefully the car isn't blown up or something lol (same with the batsuit, which I love everything about besides the ears, which aren't overly important to me)
