I actually would prefer short over long. The ears on the AA suits are too long for me. The B89/BR suit is about as long as I like it, but saga in, I wanna see shorter ears.

I'll say this, shorter ears would be a different way to go if they wanted a change of pace.

No idea but I'll say this... I WISH it was real. That cowl looks pretty much perfect to me. I'm fine with longer or shorter ears but like Spidey said, shorter ears would help differentiate this version of Batman from the previous incarnation.

If it is WAS real, it could fit into a shot like this - the kind of shot Kevin Smith described...the angle and lighting seems about right and that gray wedge in the lower right corner of the "leaked" image could be supes cape. Just an observation.

The leaked pic fits the rumored reveal pic pretty well. Looks like a bit of Superman's cape as well in the picture based on the manip. Or I could just be seeing what I want to see in the picture t:

Okay...as a manipper I should have looked a bit closer at this, but I can admit I got a little excited at the time at the prospect of this "leak" MAYBE being for real. Sorry, I'm sorry for that...

When I manip, I look at angles - that is one of the biggest things to get right in order to make it look believable - that's middle school art class. In looking more closely at the ears, I noticed - and it was pretty blatant actually - that the ears just aren't right. The perspective of the ears just doesn't follow a logical angle to me. So, IMO, from purely a manipper's perspective - this is indeed a fake...

If anything, the ears should be either at or below the red line I've drawn, considering the angle of the face and tilt of the head IMO.

If it is fake, its just weird no ones managed to pick out for definite which photos or cowls have been used to stitch it together. I mean this is the internet, usually that stuff get's traced back pretty quick.

Source images were probably screenshots the manipper took from videos, would make it extremely hard to pinpoint the exact source.

Oh for sure, but I've seen some great (and very entertaining) CSI style detective work on this board and they usually pin point stuff pretty definitely. The images posted so far are close but not quite it, for my money at least.

Yeah this could well be it, and the 'grainyness' and lower quality of this pic could well be hiding the fact that its from a screenshot.

Really interesting either way. I love the image, so if it's not the real macoy, that things got some living up to do!
