Awww, cute, you're using animated gifs to belittle another person's opinion. You deserve a cookie for being so original.

I prefer Batman to look decently armoured because he's a human character, always have always will. Unlike most of you I couldn't give a **** about it looking like it's ripped from the comics because more often than not comic costume looks stupid. Don't get me wrong, the suit is well made, but it still looks like a well made cosplay in my eyes. Feel free to disagree.
What if it's revealed to be armored underneath?

Such silly.
Don't you mean awesome?!

This tells us everything we need to know.

Too comic-booky for my liking. Looks like a well made cosplay. Might look different in action however.

A lot of you fans are missing the boat here. The costume differs from all others in that not only does it respect some classic Batman styles in the comics but it also leaves some subtle hints that it is grounded in reality. Notice that the suit has traces of wear on it as it has been in battle (something you don't see in other batman costumes be it in the comics, on film, or in animation). In reality, you would expect a suit that is used over and over for years to be worn or scratched. Now granted, Bruce Wayne is wealthy enough that he could probably wear a fresh suit every night, but, just as you would expect an athlete's uniform to be dirty after playing in a game, you should also expect Batman's suit to have scratches on it. That's outside-of-the-box kind of thinking. This should tell you that they have placed a lot of thought into this project and all the speculation that they had no plan and that this is rushed or thought up just last year is all hogwash. BTW, it think that the tweets by Zack Snyder are a also a subtle form of viral marketing for the film.

So THAT explains why they're hyping this up as a Superman movie. Oh... Wait. They're NOT. It's almost like it started out as one thing but morphed into something else. Crazy, that. EDIT: Also, REALLY? You're going to complain about that here in the BATSUIT thread? TROLOLOLOLOL.
Not a complaint, an amusing thought

The movie is called Batman vs Superman...I don't see how that's a Superman movie
It's a sequel to a Superman movie, I didn't say it's a Superman movie

Of course more focus is going to be on Batman. He's the new ingredient in the film... everyone has seen this version of Superman and knows what to expect, but with the new Batman there is still mystery, and with that intrigue. Plus, it's BATMAN, the most popular superhero in the world. Of course he's gonna be the centre of attention.

True, but I think the even bigger picture here is the establishment of a DC universe with characters that are connected to similar events. I this situation you have to get both Superman and Batman right (more so the latter if you want a big payday).
Could make a confirmed $1 billion

I didn't even know the suit itself had a ****ing thread.
Every suit has its own discussion thread, even Superman's trunks

What if it's revealed to be armored underneath?

It could very well but it's more the overall design that I find silly because it adhere too closely to the comic book design. It reminds me of Captain America's costume in Avengers which gave off a similar vibe.

Are we going to laugh someone out of a thread every time they say something we don't like?

if they are just in here trolling....

if someone says...I don't like the short ears...that's a logical complaint
if someone says it looks like a cheap cosplay suit...that deserves to be laughed at

Maybe the movie will be comic-booky too....heaven forbid. :O

I'm also a bit sick of hearing "ripped from the comics!" every other sentence. Some things work on paper but don't work on film and vice versa.

And yes, this also looks to me like a very well made cosplay (same with the TASM2 suit). It doesn't make any sense to me why a man who operates from the shadows, relies on stealth and the darkness would wear a gray suit- let alone one with moulded muscles covered with fabric.

What if it's revealed to be armored underneath?

Superman uses his x-ray vision on Batman to figure out his identity and it's revealed that Batman has a set of custom made armored plating under the kevlar suit.

I need it.

Don't you mean awesome?!

Silly silly silly.

New action Batman with glowing Bat-symbol! Buy one today!

Definitely Miller'esque. Interesting design. I don't know if I'm a huge fan of that bat emblem, but everything does look pretty impressive.

I'm glad you find it cute, pumpkin.:hrt: I award you two cookies and an appointment at an ophthalmologist and if that doesn't work, I suggest a ct-scan. :cwink: :hehe: Cosplay, LOL! So cute. :woot:

But...he most likely IS wearing light-weight armor. Zoom in in to see all the texture and details, even the scratches on the symbol that show the suit can take a beating. It's not like he's wearing his PJs. A suit doesn't need to be made of heavy black rubber to appear armored.

And if you ever a see a cosplay suit this good or "well-made" as you say, please let me know so I can congratulate whoever made it on creating one of the best Batman suits ever.

a movie featuring Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman being too comic booky????

He wasn't trolling.

You guys like to use that word a lot. I don't think you know what it means anymore.

if someone says it looks like a cheap cosplay suit...that deserves to be laughed at

Except that isn't what he said, and he followed up what he actually did say by admitting that it might look better in his eyes once he saw more of it.
