I feel the opposite. I feel like Batman would sound much more intimidating under normal circumstances if his voice wasn't so clearly synthesized.

You know, every time I see that sequence I'm more sure that voice is only for the armor.

I think that's probably it. I would guess the colour is something akin to untreated leather. The buckle looks more metallic to me, because it reflects light when the rest of the belt is completely in shadow.

Hmm.. I actually paused the HD trailer at the point when the belt is under the light and it did look black to me. But it could be that is a very dark bronze that seems black in shadows. Considering that Batman is for the most part in shadows anyway, it actually doesn't make much of a difference. I'm fine with bronze belt if it is indeed that dark that it looks like it could be black.

I agree that it could be a dark bronze that almost give the effect is black.

Gotta say, I'm absolutely in love with what they're doing with batman is this film. I can't wait to see more of the suit. What we've seen so far is beautiful.

Me, too. Like others have pointed out, I think the line "alien" is most likely Affleck's bat-voice.

I just don't want them to look over stylized. I want it to still feel like it's in a real world.

Impossible to be certain at this point. But I'm thinking yes.

Exactly. Not sure people have such an issue with product placement. Our daily lives are filled with product placement if we're being honest.

As far as i'm concerned, I couldn't care less about it feeling like the real world. what I want, is for the story to be involving, the character to be good, the action to be great, and the visuals to be stunning.

The scooped pic of The Joker shows a marked similarity to DKR's version, which leads me to believe that DKR's influence on BvS is pervasive, and that a Joke cameo in this movie is likely.

of course we can. That said, I'm not even sure we're in disagreement, it's more a case of me not attaching too much importance to that aspect, I'm not against it per se.
