For years I have said a black and grey suit was never going to happen. I think I didn't want to dream of perfection.

A lot of people said it was never going to happen. Even more said it would never work. A few said otherwise and endured.

It happened.

If anyone thinks the pic posted earlier in the thread looks beastly wait till you see Affleck in the trailer... a TDKR brute... THE goddamn Batman at last. Not that you get that good a look at the details; Snyder is still playing the tease, but the size on the man is apparent... and while I can't be 100% certain, there's another shot and I believe I saw a scalloped cape. Hopefully the official release next week with still HD quality will allow someone to pull screen-cap that illuminates things more definitively.

For those wondering, the trailer already leaked.

It's still a teaser as far as the batsuit goes. You barely see it. But that bat-voice, though. Synthesized, obviously, but it's clearly intended to disguise his voice and make him seem otherworldly. Which I think is awesome.

And I'm 99% sure the cape is scalloped. The one at display at Comic Con was, but the scallops or subtle, and the cape was long enough to hide them. You can tell in closeups of the bottom of the cape though, especially if you see where two of the panels are sewn together.

Still not able to tell about the alleged brass details, although in the leaked trailer it looks like the belt is brass. But it's so drowned it shadows it could be purple and nobody would be the wiser. At least on the better of my monitors. :/

How can you tell? None of the shots showed the fins, knuckles or boots. At least not that I could see.

It's hard to see completely, but yes, I think that's the regular suit.

I wouldn't be surprised if the modified voice only comes with the armored suit.

It's what I instantly thought of. And he'd be using a rifle and not a pistol version ala the Burton films for greater range, obviously. It wouldn't have to be bulky downgrade just to get the comic reference in.

Lol I never liked the rifle-line-launcher thing. For someone who hates guns and has millions of dollars to design a gadget fitted for specific purposes it seemed way too home made. Never the less, it would be cool to have faithful imagery from the comics adapted to the big screen.

I can't tell what he's holding onto there. But I'm guessing he could be picking up an item after calling in a drone, or the Batwing. Just like the Arkham games.
