I sure hope not. I never liked it in previous movies, and it really should be the grapple gun that covers that function - not flying exactly, but to get up high, swing like a proper old-style hero, and to function as a safety net if he falls.

Some seem to have such an issue with how big batman is now but at least it's different and fresh than the slim look of the batmen from Keaton to especially Bale while still being faithful to some of the comics

I don't think many people have a big issue with it, more just a preference. I would *prefer* he was a little sleeker, but can't really complain about what we got. And I do like the idea of Batman getting bigger as he gets older.

I still think they should do a solo movie that's a prequel, or at least part flashback to the early days. I'd love to see a younger, slimmer Batman with a slightly different style suit, with Affleck digitally de-aged if necessary. I'd kill to see him in a Bob Kane influenced cowl, too.

As long as it works for actor and looks as good as it does right now - it's great.

It will be, IF they can do the suit as fabric rather than sculpted rubber. The Arkham figure went with rubber for what is obviously a fabric suit and ended up suffering for it.

I know they did an amazing job of the MOS fabric suit, but Batman's might be more of a challenge.

I'm pretty sure bronze is the most accurate term. Or "metallic brown" if you want to say it that way. I doubt it's very gold or yellow.

If there is any metallic/bronze/brown on that belt, it's subtle. Which is fine by me.
