Well, using suits that have been made, and putting them on a modified body form would certainly be a lot easier and cheaper.
Just need to make the head and cowl, and add it to the body form.
Perhaps WB and Ironhead had this planned from the get go?
Built extra suits long ago? As long as they are in safe hands? Seems logical..

Wonder if these will be at Comic Con this year?

Whatever it is it's amazing and I hope it will be there so people can take pics from all angles.

It may come off that way but I really don't. I've said several times I hope I'm wrong of what I think I'm seeing. I hope it is like the statue/suit (whatever).
It does come off that way. Either you think there's bronze or not. And I think you think there's bronze. But I'm not saying that's a poor observation. And we're not that far apart. I hope there's no bronze either. And I understand your point about the statue, but I don't think that eliminates the statue from consideration. Or even the concept art. And considering all the evidence, dammed if there isn't a strong case for bronze.

In my 10 years of membership to the Hype, I haven't once placed anyone on my ignore list. I consider this to be an achievement because I have been witness to some of the most horrendously annoying trolls and also countless numbers of awful, miserable, and idiotic users.

Time will tell on who is right.

You can side with whoever you'd like, your affiliation means nothing whatsoever. I stated my case and I have been making my points without using childish phrases such as resorting to calling anyone an "ass."
I re-read all your posts from the last three or four pages. Proximo's also. It was late last night when all this was going down and I wanted to give everyone a fair shake. You're right. There was no need for Proximo to call you an ass. It was obvious. You've really made no points other that to say 'it's black, duh' while blatantly ignoring any evidence to the contrary then you go on to contradict yourself by saying that maybe there was some bronze, except that it wasn't really bronze, except when it might have been black tinted bronze. If you want to make a bs argument, that's how you make a bs arguement. I don't care if any of this means anything to you or not; I side with those you make the better case, and that's not you.

This batsuit business is serious stuff.

Lol, is this argument still raging? I guess I'm partly to blame, but I was sure it would have fizzled out by now.

Like I said, your affiliation and opinion I couldn't care less about, I wasn't debating to convince you because that is a dumb reason to argue anything. We shall see in time and I'm of the belief I am correct with what WB has shown us thus far. It's fine to disagree, that's your prerogative.

Have a wonderful day sir.
Well, I'm not on you ignore list so that must mean something :fhm:

Lol.

latest

Yup, my bad.

I just took a piss.

It looked kind of bronze. But I know it wasn't.

Now I don't know what to think.

I just thought I'd go back and check that the Batsuit is still awesome...

Yeah, it's still awesome.

Regarding the 'steel' toes, irrespective of whatever sort of metal they might be, why would the metal be exposed? Steel toed boots are common, but exposed steel is very unusual. When you see it in the real world it's primarily for style, i.e., serving no functional purpose, or indicative of wear. It's clear the bat boots are not worn through and if it's a style thing, well that's just someone trying to be too cute. Generally the steel is under the leather, but bronze or black those toes are definitely exposed. If it's not a style thing, then why bother. If it is a style thing then they should not have bothered. So that has me wondering if there's some 'purpose'... perhaps the exposed metal on the knuckles and boots serve a dual purpose... that they are also conductive... such that when when he slips on the armor suit he's... connected.

Just brainstorming here.

That's not necessarily true. Some boots have exposed reinforcement in addition to the interior toe cap because of that one disadvantage where the inner reinforcement breaks the leather quite easily (especially if you abuse it often, like I did in my time working by unloading and loading trucks). Most of those boots use strong plastic, but there are some with steel toes.

Yup, there are both kinds. And metal reinforcement does tend to damage the leather after a while of use (especially if "use" means kicking thugs on daily basis :woot:), like my old "Dr. Martens" can affirm.

ahahaha this is great
Oh crap, sorry, there is swearing.

I'm not sure what you're specifically questioning here. Image search steel toed boots will return predominantly unexposed steel, as I'm sure you noticed when searching for these images. I acknowledged that both exist, but I'm confident in my conclusion of the type that is most common. The rubber toe on the Wolverine boot is there to stop you from scuffing the leather that would otherwise be exposed as a means to minimize wear. Keen shoes are the same. Those Docs are for style... look for the Docs with little circular window on the toe that gives you a peek a the steel underneath... very flash.

Indeed it is... and a lot more neck there than either the trailer or the Jposters pic would suggest.
