Of for f's sake people, I can't believe you're still debating this. Is it really that important?

It is very washed-out bronze on all metallic parts - front side of the belt (though not the sides as they are made of black "leather"), knuckles and fins. But for most part it appears as dark steel. Especially on the last two mentioned.

And the very fact that it is barely noticeable and that we can't agree on the color, prove that it doesn't really matter, as it is not the bright, shiny bronze those cosplayers were rocking, nor even as bright as it was shown in the concept art.

It has a bronzish tint. It looks good on the suit. Why give a damn to debate it any further?

Lawd. Can't we all just agree that the knuckles and boot tips and blades are steel while the belt was at one point some yellowish faded shade of bronze but has almost totally faded to a grey color due to the suits wear and tear and age? Good lord people. We've been debating this forever and in the Ben Affleck thread we're talking about the guys marriage. Are we THAT thirsty again??????
But it hasn't faded to a gray color. It's still quite gold-colored, just dark. Now of course, that's seen in the leaked picture which isn't allowed here yet, but still, it's not gray. The belt is black and gold/bronze.

You are right Killerwof, its not that important, not one bit. This is the most beautiful and comic accurate Batsuit we have ever gotten in live action blockbuster movie form. and it is simply AMAZING. I don't care if the fins are bronze, gold, black, blue, don't matter its simply perfection. I said in several of my posts that I was not trying to start an argument, but some peoples reactions in this place to other peoples opinions or findings for whatever reason instead of just agreeing to disagree get bent all out of shape. I find it quite sad and humorous at the same time how easily some of these people get bent out of shape.

So with that being said, if my post(s) have offended anyone I apologize.

I know. It wasn't you I was calling out, nor anyone specifically actually, I just saw that argument has once again gotten out of hand, as you pointed it out yourself. I used to find it humorous once, but, to be honest, watching grown people debating the shade of damn knuckles on the batsuit with such passion and stubbornness and going near the point of feeling genuinely angry about it, isn't fun to me anymore.

I just find it, you know... stupid.

But don't you get it Wolf?! People need to know they're wrong!!:o

Just curious, but do people really get bent out of shape enough to us the ignore a member feature just because they share a different opinion? Seems childish to me.

Honest question here as I'm curious, I've never ignored anyone on here, and if it even got close enough to that point that particular person got banned or something.

Anyway, back on topic. I look at this suit more and more and love it more and more each time. It took a while for the big black bat symbol to grow on me but it certainly has and I love it. absolute perfection. I'm not sure how they could ever top this batsuit.

I understand, and thank you. I didn't take your comments as against me or towards me, I was saying you had a good point and changed how I said my opinion based on that.

It really, really doesn't matter.

The (brief) concern was that Batman's costume would be immaculate apart from some incongruous, gaudy bling on his hands and wrists. That is clearly not how the actual costume appears.

This is true.

I love that we got this awesome full cowl and he can turn his head with ease. If only Nolan had done something similar instad of that dumb helmet cowl.

Yeah. The helmet cowl made Bale look like a walking Pez dispenser come bobblehead

It seems we're never in a state of unanimous agreement when it comes to any feature of the batsuit. Haha.

Indeed. It is most cryptic batsuit ever. :woot:

Anyway, we don't even have to be, it's just the bickering and hot-headed debates that usually come out of this which I don't understand. Especially since it is barely noticeable and doesn't ruin the suit in any way.

I assumed you didn't. I just wanted to make it clear anyway. :cwink:

That's true. At the end of the day I am just psyched it isn't the harsh gold as seen on that cosplay. And no one can deny this is the best suit yet at least! :awesome: I love it.

Heresy!!!

Indeed.

For once Batman doesn't look like he's wearing a big black condom, but actually looks like his comic book counterpart and there are people who don't like it and prefer the black rubber? I just don't understand it.

I'm with you on this one... Snyder is giving us the most perfect batsuit to date, i'm not sure you could get better - yet people are still not satisfied! :whatever:

Right. This is the MOST comic accurate costume that we have gotten. Absolute perfection in my eyes. I'm sure I could pick out a couple things I'd like to change if I really wanted to or looked hard enough but there is not point because overall it is pure beautiful perfection. I can understand some peoples nitpicks, but at the end of the day you cannot please everyone. I hate to see Nolans suits getting bashed now, but I really liked both his batsuits as well but in a different way. Really the only real Movie batsuit that I have disliked has been the Batman and Robin suit from the end of the movie, the blue and silver suits to be exact.

I like Nolan's batsuits for the films that he made. They fit that trilogy, so yeah, it's unfair to criticize his suits for the improvements of the Wilkinson suit (now, if we got those kinds of suits after the Wilkinson suit, that'd be a different matter). For me, I really only like the Nolan suits and this Snyder/Wilkinson suit. I really don't like the 89/90s suits, but of those, I actually think the best one is Kilmer's first suit, even with the nipples. I just think that suit is better overall than the rubber art deco suit in Burton's films, and the weirder suits in the end of Forever and Batman and Robin.

I do agree with this. Completely.

Though I must add that I feel Nolan's suits would fit the trilogy just as fine if they were grey instead of black.

Well, they were gray. Granted, it was a dark gray, but it was still technically gray. But I was mainly talking about the material and type of suits (particularly the tactical, piecemeal armor look of the TDK/R suit).

I started my day by reminding myself that this suit actually exists.

Great day so far .
