Hey, guys, I noticed the Funko Batman figure had a gold wrist. I thought that was wholly inaccurate, but check out the inside of the Batsuit's right glove, at the wrist, in the Suicide Squad set pics. I think there is some brass on the inside of the wrists.

Until we see what kind of filter Snyder is going to use, we won't have an accurate idea on the exact color texture of all of the suit.

The MoS suit looked a lot brighter in set-pics than on film.

Nope, there's no bronze on his wrists. Besides, Funko Batman had bronze on the upper side of the arm, wrapping the arm like a bracelet, in some pictures and not in the others. And as we've already seen these toys are not entirely accurate, so they cannot serve for purpose of deducing how a certain part of the batsuit really looks like.

I was just looking at the set pic when I noticed that the inside of the right wrist looked much like the knuckles - metallic. Maybe Funko decided to move that up the arm. Maybe they just thought it looked cool. I do think it is actually the same as the knuckles. The color is the same, and isnt like the black gloves. Same color as the belt and fins too. A faded brass. I think the knuckles, wrist, fins, belt, and boot toes are all brass, albeit dirty brass.

Yeah, it is more similar to the knuckles. I still think that it could be just light shining on the leather though. We'll see once we get better shots of the suit in action.

Like I've said in the other threads, I love it. I think everyone looks great. Batman especially.

He looks so much like the comics, it's ridiculous.

Cool image, but I think they could have chosen a better pose for Batsy.

Jesus that image be photoshopped out of its mind.

Anyways. I don't like how the Batsuit looks here. It looks ridiculously bulky. It makes him look stocky. Like how is this guy supposed to move when his suit is so lumbering. Cavill's suit also makes him look huge but in a more streamlined, efficient way. Like he can be agile in that. But the batsuit, atleast on the evidence of this pic, looks way to bulky.

DISCLAIMER: Just expressing my opinion here, not facts.

I think it looks particularly bulky here because of the angle of his pose, awkward photo shopping, etc. The suit doesn't appear to be too bulky as seen on the costume statues from the WB expo, in other pics of Ben in the suit, and in the pics from the Suicide Squad set.

Either way, they're portraying this Batman as a big guy. Even if he has somewhat of a bulky looking build when in the suit, it doesn't mean the suit is made out of lead or that he wouldn't be able to move. If anything, the suit has been designed to appear skin-tight and lightweight rather than armored and heavy.

I have no doubt that we will be witnessing the most quick, agile, and ferocious Batman yet in BvS, when it comes to fighting and action.

Agreed. They need to show that in terms of hand to hand combat no one is on this Batman's level. Even if he's seasoned he should still be a master of several martial arts. Batman in hand to hand combat should be a spectacle.

Those costume statues aren't accurate because they're, well, statues, so don't judge their builds based on that. I'll just say this. The suit doesn't look too bulky looking at it straight on (check out my deviantart page - http://antoineflemming.deviantart.com - if you want to see the pic I'm talking about).

As awesome as the new suit is and a huge improvement over past suits, the cowl still needs a good bit of work, especially around the mouth opening/neck. It has the same issues as Keaton's in that way, where in attempting to get the square jaw look, they build up too much of the jaw/lower face with latex. Hopefully, they can tweak it for Justice League and Affleck's solo film.

Seconding all your points here! I love the new suit and cowl, but it is still a bit thick looking to me. They need to find a way to slim down the cowl more IMO. I thick there are ways, but I'm sure Wilkinson tried different materials in the development of this suit (which I'd love to see the process in some bonus features for the BluRay!!):woot:

Clearly they wanted to avoid the pencil neck/bobble head look of the TDK(R) suit. I think the stocky neck was a deliberate choice to emphasize Batman's square, imposing silhouette, but a method has been found to make it flexible.

Very possibly. I also think that stocky, thicker neck is a result of making it able to move/turn. Air pockets and such, like they tried with BB cowl, but have finally made it work now.

True...and a picture of the cowl is one thing, but in action seems to tell more of the story. That clip from the Jokermobile roof ride on set of SS showing the stuntman turning his head...:ilv:

I disagree. Most pictures of Batman and the suit itself appear to display quite the opposite.

Glorious, isn't it?

I wish the photographers involved w/ the production would avoid having Affleck continuously lower his head when taking promo shots. Due to the texture and especially the dark color of the fabric, the cowl sort of integrates with the neck in an unflattering way.

The 1500×500 version of the cover photo looks a little better specifically because the outline of his jaw is more discernible.

Here's a quick attempt at separating the head from the neck to better illustrate my point.
