There's just an inherit goofiness to it. And it certainly clashes with the overt seriousness they're selling the film on. It's partly why I laughed when I first saw it in the trailer.

Can you imagine how hot it is to wear this suit, with the pants and jacket, out in the desert? I feel claustrophobic looking at it!
A tip for all: with "I hate it and I want you to listen to me hating it" posts, the best approach is just to skip over them.
Yeah, you're right... I took the bait dammit!
Will he upgrade his suit each movie like Ironman does? And what are the chances he'll go back to an armor suit eventually, kinda like the Arkham games after 2 games of the traditional look.

I just hope he'll use it briefly against Superman, then toss it away, and we'll never see the thing again.
I hope Superman rips it apart. Then, during Justice League part I, they can be fighting like an army of deadly robots and Batman be like, "Boy, it sure would be nice if I had an ARMORED SUPERSUIT, don't you think?" with Superman replying "That outfit made you look fat," as he woosh! takes care of all the bad guys with a smirk.
Then I remember Joss Whedon isn't writing the movie.
There will probably be complaints about this comment of yours, because, you know... "MCU V DCCU: Dawn of Flamewar", but I really enjoyed this little jab. It's in good spirit, as much as I'm concerned.

Jab? I LOVE Joss Whedon, man! Big fan of the MCU here. It's just abysmally opposite, tone-wise. That I find funny.
t: Yea, it's cool and I suppose necessary for the moment but after that, leave it. Besides, the main suit is much more pleasing to the eyes. Look at that cowl!
