The Wilkinson cowl allows 'total movement' as well, and it's far more aesthetically pleasing than the one previously designed by Lindy Hemming.

Nah. Prefer the medium length ears. Not too long, or short. Meaner, more angular expression. And it looked like a graphite, protective piece of headwear. BvS looks like flimsy plastic. The suit is comically padded with fake musculature.

Are we talking about the cowls when they're actually being worn or when they're just on display?

I actually felt the TDK/R cowl looked odd on Bale's head, while it looked incredible on display. I'm feel similar, but not entirely the same, about the BvS cowl. I think the BvS cowl fits Affleck much better than the TDK/R cowl fit Bale. The BB cowl fit Bale much better, IMO (even though it didn't allow for head movement).

I'm going to have to disagree with you, once again.

Regwec summed up my major problems with Hemming's Batsuit.

1) The chunky bobble head, which is exacerbated by the tiny mouth opening.

2) The messy and confusing brassiere/invisible Bat symbol chest area.

3) The truly absurd jigsaw legs. I don't know if they had the work experience boy design that area, but he should have been given the lash if so.

Yeah. A cowl. It's never been helmet in the comics (unless when it's part of the armored suit like TDKR or "Kingdom Come" ones) and this is comic book accurate.

It seems you will get this type of helmet with Flash's suit though.

Cowl and cape have the same shade and gloss and same leathery texture, so I don't see how one can say that cowl looks one way and cape the other. It looks like some sort of leathery material for both.

I love how one of the thugs tries to slash him with a knife from behind and you see the sparks come off the suit's armor underneath.

after seeing the first pictures and the suit I was wondering how they would make Batman move. He looked really big and bulky. After watching that video im shocked.. it looked amazing
