The costume approach for MoS and BvS is how all superhero costumes should be handled.
This is going to be like Daniel Craig's barnstorming debut in CR, I think.
I'm excited.
I'm curious how much of the fight footage was CGI. My guess? A lot.
**** me that's a good shot. I love the look of the suit in the movie.
The choreography looked pretty much all in camera to me. Though the shots of Batman dismounting from the bat-wing and him disabling the the goons' weapons (or something) was laden with some very obvious CGI, unfortunately.
In the actual fight, it's hard for me to tell. The cape, I think, is almost certainly CGI, and that makes it difficult for me to discern if they've actually filmed a stuntman performing all these moves or if it's interspersed with a CGI double. Maybe it's just the cape.
My guess is it's almost all stuntmen in the actual fight we see, with the cape CGI, and the objects they get thrown into are foam pads that got CG'd to not look like foam pads. him entering the building and room are CGI for obvious reasons. Stuntmen have been doing stuff like this in martial arts films for years.
Who gives a **** about the CGI, unless it looks bad. I don't even understand what you're trying to say? Do you like CGI or not? If not, well, sorry. I think it looks great.
I mean, when I watch something like Iron Man, I know perfectly well its CGI, but it looks great, so who cares? I love those movies.
Exactly. CGI is a fact of life, especially with blockbuster movies with comic book and fantasy elements. As long as it looks good, there's no problem.Who gives a **** about the CGI, unless it looks bad. I don't even understand what you're trying to say? Do you like CGI or not? If not, well, sorry. I think it looks great.
