Electro suit in tue second image

Of all of the times Snyder shouldn't have used slo-mo, why didn't he use it instead on the huge Batman fight at the end to showcase the moves/suit more?

^ Behind the Batsuit in the second photo, you can see it's arm. And on the right, I spy concept art of Thanos.

Brainfart. I thought Batman had some kind of secret electro suit. Didn't realise it was the same studio that made the suits.

The tech cowl does play a role. It's simply meant to explain the voice changing and how later on when the cowl get's swiped by knives, they spark or hit metal.

Basically Batman is wearing a helmet in this movie. Metal covered by that foamy cowl.

Yeah, there's a scene where Alfred says, "There's nothing wrong with the voice modulator, it must be this new layer of armor", which implies that he believes the tech cowl to be the source of whatever unspecified issues Bruce had with the voice. The solution, according to Alfred, is to "rewire."

I loved that little scene of Alfred working on the cowl. To be honest...it made me miss the Nolan suit up explain everything scenes.

Especially in this movie, where he builds a ****ing mech suit. I was really hoping to see a scene where they put it together.

With a big crash zoom close up of his big metal bat ass.

But who says he didn't build the mech suit years ago? I'm certain we're not mean to think it was whipped up during the timeframe of this movie.

It's very interesting to see the muscle sculpt on its own, and to think about the creative choices they made. It's pretty much 99% anatomically realistic, which was a direction they certainly didn't have to go in. It could definitely have been more stylised.

And the bulk - it really must be adding a LOT of volume to Ben's body - they definitely could have had a much slimmer Batman if Snyder had wanted it, and I would maybe like to see that in the solo movie (maybe in flashback?).

Also the texture of the fabric - it's just 3D printed so it could have been ANYTHING. The faux fabric weave definitely looks cool, but it could easily have been a leathery or skin-like texture, or stone-like, or what have you.

While I love the suit, it would definitely be fun to see some minor experimentation in future. They basically got it to the point where it would be hard to do *better*, but there are definitely avenues to do slightly different but just as good.

I really love the way the ears look in this maquette - that's pretty much the way I've been drawing/manipping them for years.

Does that muscle suit put the bed that this "fabric" suit is somehow less restrictive than the rubber ones? I never thought the begins or TDK suits were hampering Bale's movement, just that Nolan wasn't great at filming fight scenes.

This suit is a WHOLE lot of rubber. It's almost the exact same construction as the suits from 1989-2005, just with an extra layer of fabric on top. It's pretty much the 89 suit with a fabric skin.

less is more. i am sorry but his shoulders were at least 2 times to big for his body. the silhouette didnt work to me at all.

i did like the big legs and abdomen area. he looked like a powerlifter.

I would love to see Ben in the shape he was in the movie, standing shirtless next to the muscle sculpt, just to compare. (Or just see the life cast without the sculpt).

This is honestly not a million miles away from the muscle sculpt Vinnie Jones wore for Juggernaut.
