I'm really hoping we get a Batsuit reveal this month. I cannot wait for the first promotional shot of Ben Affleck in his Batman costume... really holding out hope that this time we get a Batsuit that skews closer to the comics.
I'm hoping for something like this (don't mind my lack of journalism experience, as it probably shows

Headline: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BATMAN - YOU GOT A NEW SUIT!
News Story: Who ever said an old dog can't learn new tricks, or in this case "bat"? Even with his 75th birthday celebration coming up later this year, Batman is getting a refreshingly classic revamp.
With the Man of Steel sequel (formal title still to be announced) a mere 18 months away from it's release date, and following a mixed internet response to the casting choice of the coveted role, the first promotional photo of Ben Affleck in the new Batman suit - "Batfleck" as he's been so lovingly dubbed by fans - was released this morning. Needless to say, the internet has already been inundated with a wide range of fan comments.
As seen in the released photo, the most notable change to the suit is the color. For the past 25 years of Batman films, audiences the world over have become accustomed to variations of a mainly all-black batsuit, most recently in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy. In his upcoming big screen appearance, the Caped Crusader's digs have taken on a more comic-faithful design. By utilizing a blue and grey color scheme, this Batman's look hearkens to a more traditional depiction of the character as seen over his almost 75 years in print.
Costume designer for the Man of Steel sequel, Michael Wilkinson, was quoted in the recent press release as saying that even though the classic colors were indeed influential, the design still needed to be brought into the 21st century. With the use of new materials and a slightly darker color palette, the new suit has a more gritty, yet streamlined film-worthy appearance. Also, with the addition of the famous "white eyes" commonly used in his printed adventures, this new Batman does indeed take on a look we've not seen on film before.
Ben Affleck as Batman, and Henry Cavill reprising his role as Superman, will face off for the first time in theaters on July 15, 2015.
