But one version looks better than the other! There's no version of this that looks good.

Off the top of my head:What am i talking about? Because my example is exactly the little cgi touches they should do instead of cgi EVERYTHING. what moments have been awful?
I'm not even the biggest fan of the new suit, but one aspect I do really dig about it is that it looks like Clark is wearing something genuine. Something he can take off and put back on. That he can move in. Adds a lot of charm.Yeah that Cap costume is about trying to make a wildly impractical comic book design look believable in live-action. Superman's suit is a practical outfit looking...practical like it's supposed to. Apples and oranges.
- The extremely nothing time travel suits from Endgame. - Completely CGI. Not what im talking about.Off the top of my head:
- The extremely nothing time travel suits from Endgame.
- Thor's shaky helmet from Love and Thunder.
- Multiple Spider-Man suits simply not looking real.
- The obviously not real Wolverine cowl.
- The Iron Man suits that do not look real.
One of major issues with the look of a lot of latter day Marvel suits is they just imagine/fix them in post later, resulting in suits that look unreal and often just bad. I'd like Clark to look real.
Why tighten up something that's deliberately designed to look loose and comfy?- The extremely nothing time travel suits from Endgame. - Completely CGI. Not what im talking about.
- Thor's shaky helmet from Love and Thunder. - Helmet is nowhere on Superman. Not what im talking about
- Multiple Spider-Man suits simply not looking real. - Completely cgi. Not what im talking about.
- The obviously not real Wolverine cowl. - again not what im talking about
- The Iron Man suits that do not look real. - 95% cgi. Not what im talking about.
Tightening up a suit in places is not any of those things listed
What is your issue with the Superman suit that you think can be "fixed" with CGI?- The extremely nothing time travel suits from Endgame. - Completely CGI. Not what im talking about.

It can still look comfy with some tightening. It doesn't exactly look that great as it is.Why tighten up something that's deliberately designed to look loose and comfy?
That neck. Some of the of the bagginess overall torso up.What is your issue with the Superman suit that you think can be "fixed" with CGI?
I disagree, but more importantly, the kind of “tightening up” you want seems to be in direct opposition to the artistic intention of the design. This is not intended to be a skintight suit.It can still look comfy with some tightening. It doesn't exactly look that great as it is.
What is your issue with that aspect of the suit? Do you think it's unintentional? That neck. Some of the of the bagginess overall torso up.
Are we supposed to think it's intentionally ugly overall? He's a man that flies and fights monsters. A manmade suit can still be a bit tighter and not take away from anythingWhat is your issue with that aspect of the suit? Do you think it's unintentional?
A kid is not going to be afraid of him with one less wrinkle or tighter necklineDidn’t David explain the suit awhile ago. Saying it’s kid friendly and Superman doesn’t want people to be afraid of him because he is an alien. I think it is more of a wrestler’s outfit probably made by Ma Kent.
I do think the look of the suit is very intentional. I'm asking if you think the fit is unintentional. Are we supposed to think it's intentionally ugly overall? He's a man that flies and fights monsters. A manmade suit can still be a bit tighter and not take away from anything
It’s way more realistic that Ma Kent made the suit wrinkles and all.A kid is not going to be afraid of him with one less wrinkle or tighter neckline
Since i think they believe this was a good looking suit, i think they were fine with the fit and no not 100% intentional to the story.I do think the look of the suit is very intentional. I'm asking if you think the fit is unintentional.
Why can't the suit just be the suit, warts and all? If they want something else later, they can make that. But why waste money on CGI to mess with it?
So why would they mess with it in post?Since i think they believe this was a good looking suit, i think they were fine with the fit and no not 100% intentional to the story.
And as a general rule - ignore that Aaron Fischer guy like the plague. Nothing he says is ever in good faith. One of the most shameless Snyderbots in existence.
Because you mess with a lot in post, including going "hmm... this could still look a little better"So why would they mess with it in post?
That looks awful...It produced good results for Marvel. Even deadpool is slightly cgi.

If this is how they want it, why would they mess with it?Because you mess with a lot in post, including going "hmm... this could still look a little better"
Snatch that neck
My rule of thumb - never trust 'YouTubers'.
I went through this with the last Indiana Jones film; constant videos of 'leaks' and 'full story!' that only aimed to be rage-bait to incite a certain group of online angry nerds. And none of it turned out to be true.
I'll trust my eyes once I'm in the theater.
