That is my point. It was the best Superman movie and Cavill was not Superman. My issue with Snyder’s Superman was that he would actually choose Lois over the world. Similar to Injustice Superman. Donner got that right with Reeves in Superman II. He gave up the love of his life for good to save the world.

None of this is on point. Cavill's Superman turned himself into Zod and to the US military for the world. "I am not surrendering to Zod. I am surrendering to Mankind. There's a difference". Kal also wasn't anticipating Zod and Faora to bring Lois onboard the scoutship. Superman, Lois, and the military worked together in MoS to defeat the World Engine. Clark and Lois were an item in BvS, and he looked Lois squarely in the eye and told her "This is my world. You are my world.." before literally killing himself to defeat Zodsday, which, was yet again, a planet-ending scenario. Superman succumbs to the Anti-Life Equation, but that is an alternative world. A Knightmare universe that the Justice League were to defeat anyway. I get Cavill's Superman isn't liked around these parts, but to say he wasn't Superman and he would choose Lois over the world isn't what played out givin' the complete opposite happened a few times over.

Reeve's Superman lost his dang mind when Kidder's Lois died, so much so that he went against Jor-EL 's wishes of destiny and turned back time for Lois to live. Reeve's Superman literally did choose to be with Lois over protecting the world, going as far as giving up his powers as Superman to be with her as a normal chap. Cavill's Superman could never do such a thing. He succumbed to the Anti-Life Equation out of grief and weakness when Darkseid killed the love of his life and baby. Way two drastically different scenarios.

Can anyone remember a when a cinemacon trailer was released to the public same day as the convention?
 
We will lose our freaking minds if at the end of the trailer, Clark removes his glasses, grabs his shirt with both hands and...........fades to black.
 
What time is the presentation East coast time? I don’t think we get the trailer today but Thursday…….
 
Does anyone know if there is any truth to the Bradley Cooper/Jor-El rumors?
 
Yeah, we won't be getting a trailer today. It will probably released next week, or at a later point so that the 5 minute preview has some momentum with Minecraft in theaters.

We will definitely be getting atleast something today as Gunn will be on stage for an hour with the cast. We will atleast be getting some new official posters I would imagine at the very least.

That is most likely, correct.
Sadly , I have no interest in, Minecraft.
So I will have to wait awhile on seeing that footage.
 
If they end up bypassing the trailer tonight with the idea of a trailer clashing with the 5 minute theatre preview, the official trailer could hit Monday, April 7th after the weekend ends.

Why? I'm not seeing why we wouldn't get a trailer today, then the 5 min preview at the weekend?

Previewing 5 minutes of footage with Minecraft is a way for Warner Bros. to capitalize on footage starved Superman fans, getting them to buy a ticket for that movie.

Also, I don't see them announcing the sneak preview on social media, and then silently dropping a trailer without any hoopla later today.

Them dropping the 5 minute preview in exclusively in theaters this weekend and then announcing and releasing a trailer in the next weeks seems more likely to me.

But we'll see. I mean, I'd LOVE to be wrong on this.
