Sadly yes, people think t's not "cool" to like the GN anymore, and the movie is "crap" because it's both too close to GN and yet too far from the source material. It was a catch 22 for Snyder, but that was damn good movie.

Considering how bad the movie could've easily been, it was a fine adaptation. That said...Watchmen never needed to be a movie.

I liked the Watchmen movie. I didn't love it, but I enjoyed it for the most part. 300 was ****, though.
