I just realized that the new Spider-Man shoots next month, and we still don't have official confirmation of who Rhys Ifans is playing.

So, it's possible we may not know who the villain is for several more months.

As I've said before, this source is 2 for 2. That's why I'm running this 3rd rumor from them. I hope this makes them 3 for 3 soon! It would suck if the one rumor I publish turns out to be false.

No not the title. I was told The Riddler wouldn't be in the movie & I was told that Weisz/Hathaway were in the running for the lead female role. They told me both of these about 3 weeks before they turned out to be true.

I thought everyone might like to know that another Esquire reporter has been banned from covering Miami Heat Basketball Games live because of his over the top criticism of Lebron James.

Maybe Esquire reporters are starting to act like this now. Didnt think that magazine was like that.

I agree with you. Just brought it up because some people on the boards thought the interviewer was confrontational with Bale because Bale wanted a Q & A only format, not straight up talking and conversational. Normally the reporter would go with the rules or just not interview the person at all.

I meant it in terms of general audience excitement - which plays a factor into leaks. Because more people will be looking for info.

In the case of movie franchises, you're only as good as your last installment. Reboot or not, Spider-man 3 wasn't the most popular thing. TDK, on the other hand, was.

Thus, more (a LOT more) is focused on TDKR. The chance of leaks on this film are far greater than that of Spideys. I'm interested in Spidey reboot, but I'm not looking for that info every day. They have to pull me back in with something awesome.... which, none of their news has done yet.

I can't believe people have taken the realism ball and ran with it so far that Hugo Strange is now too cartoonish. You do realize there was a man with an impossible, IMPOSSIBLE disfiguration in the last movie?

He's just a bald man with a beard! That's it! Are bald men not allowed to have beards? You can't just post a picture with the most exaggerated expression as proof that he couldn't work on film. I could post a picture of Tim Sale's Joker, with his GIGANTIC TEETH, and be like "Do you really want to see this toothy ***** in a movie?!"

As far as the name goes, this can't be stressed enough - it's a real name. Strange is a real last name. If it's realistic enough for...ya know, reality!...it's real enough for a Batman movie.
