Shouldn't the first major event of the game be law enforcement meeting all of the characters and then the PC's picking sides and allies?
My omniscient narrator is so going to refer to Mario like that in my next post.I don't think they need to meet law enforcement necessarily. It all depends. Remember, we're dealing with real life NYC, not comic book world NYC. They aren't used to blue hedgehogs, pyrokinetic plumbers, and little kids in red hats who carry dragons in little balls on their belts. They might just freak out.
I know it's a tough call - seeing as how Red never actually talks in the game - but do you really think he would curse that much?![]()
I am offended at the insinuation!I bet he's talking about Lara Croft.
That's all well and good. Also, Eddie Brock, I thought you might want to know that the museum's literally right across the street from the new and improved Central Park...
Peeps might wanna read up on where your character is when you post in a specific location, since it could very well be right next to jungle-death-hell, or any other major event that has a definite location...I don't think there are any others though.
Constructive criticism btw
I was hoping that The Spider Mastermind would be a present main villain. By the way, its a sheI like the idea but I really think all we'd need to do is collaborate our hero characters into fighting the major villains already causing noticeable destruction. I'd give the honor of being the present main villain to Spider Mastermind, since it seems to be the most imminent threat (is it male or female??)
I've been thinking of this as well. The National Guard sure is taking its sweet timeAlso, we might want to have New York actually, you know, react to everything that's going on. There are monsters everywhere and lots of people are dying and there's been a TON of property damage etc...don't you think the National Guard would be in here by now, maybe even some evactuations?
That's all well and good.
But I'm meeting up with Sam Fisher in the museum. So I really don't want to involve myself with any other events right now. It's no different than any other RPG.
Just because there's an event happening, doesn't mean everyone in the surrounding area has to participate. Some people have other plans to set into motion.
We have Sonic with connections to the Mayor. In the Sam & Max Season 1 game (and following into Season 2 now), Max was elected president of the U.S., so I'm having him with that position even into this universe (as the two characters never came from an alternate universe). I'll probably have the Freelance Police talk to the Mayor, and Max could probably then dispatch the National Guard into NYC.
