Victor Domashev.......?

What if they're all different names?

Reid Rikers
Susan Strome
Ben Gay

What if all the characters are goofy interpretations like this? Would that even qualify as a legit F4 film?

H3ll at the least that Victor Domashev crap should violate some type of copyright.

I don't know but Disney's lawyers should be having a meeting about this!

So what's Marvel's response to this disgrace? Do they:

Pull the banner?

Claim that FFINO doesn't meet the terms of the licensing greements?

Laugh, knowing that the rights can be had for a song after this mess is released?

Start planning for an MCU makeover in 2022?

Purchase the film and bury it?

They've got to do SOMETHING, right? This is their First Family.

I am assuming FOX wanted a (spiritual) sequel to Chronicle, so Trank was asked to provide just that, but this time with FF textures (because those pesky rights expiration dates). FOX want this weird, forced synergy to work, but the result could be cold shoulder from any and every fan segment. Of course the notoriety could, in rather bitter irony, help boost the box office, but even that will be limited if the film is just not good as a standalone product and the word-of-mouth quickly buries it.

No studio does that.

Why would they want a movie to make less money, that makes absolutely no sense. How can they gain more from a flop than a hit??

As stated before, they can trade the FF to Marvel Studios for $20 million and a clause stating that Marvel must produce merchandise related to the X-Men films.

Also, Uwe Boll intentionally produced flops because there was a tax loophole in Germany that made producing bombs profitable. which is why he kept making terrible movies.

The worst part is that if you've seen Rampage, he's actually a good director when he tries to be. He's just a hack who wants to make a cheap buck with minimal effort.

And Doctor Doom in the comics is a genius engineer who runs his own country and uses his skill in robotics to fight the FF. The film version is now... an angry IT guy who will use 4Chan as his personal army to fight the FF with spam mail and pulling up Reed Richard's 5-year-old racist Tweets that cost Reed his Nobel Prize and create a division between him and Johnny.

Victor then dresses up like a hobo for reasons I can't begin to understand.

There you go. Josh Trank's FF film.

I'm sorry I was once anticipating this.

If the alleged 'quality clause' we've discussed as a method to prevent another Corman effort is anything more than urban legend, I'd have to hope this information would be enough to pique the interest of the Marvel Lawyers.

Whoever the hell is in charge at Disney needs a boot straight up the ass for letting this go on this long. I am not even joking. This is insane.

Imagine if all this negative speak we've been getting was all a coy and they actually are sticking extremely close to the source material but won't dare say it, then this hits and boom its an incredible film.

Nah Fox ain't that smart.

Don't forget he'll be posting Sue's nude selfies on the Internet. That will make her want to be an Invisible Woman.

Here's what I think about this nonsense about Victor Domashev who as an “anti-social programmer,” posts under the online handle “Doom”:

I actually thought about that. What if they are close to the source and just like to play games? But then I listen to Mara's interviews and realize that ain't happening.

So if Victor Domashev has no type of IT Doctorate.

Will this reboot refer to him as "Mr. Doom"?

Sony and Fox got together and said; 'The other two companies are doing something right, we should do the opposite.'

Spiderman and F4 hug each other in fear.

He has the face that only bullies would love. I'm not even a bully but I can only imagine how good it would feel to pound his face in daily for $1 for lunch money.

The kid has game though. Look up his gf. You gotta give the boy props for that.

No hate on my part. :o

Most computer nerds have doctorates though. That's all they know how to do. :o

Its official. How anyone can still be excited for this, I do not know. This is so far removed its just leeching off names and title

So DC/WB announce news and everyone cheers. Then a week later Marvel announce their news and everyone cheers again. Then, encouraged by all this, Fox release their bit of news on FFINO about a week later and everyone face palms.

Absolutely. He's not a genius. He's a script kiddie now.

So if Marvel gets the FF back, The FF should borrow mostly from 616 but Sue would be more like her Ultimate version. Reed, Sue and Ben would be in their 30s, Johnny in his 20s.

The origin would be a cross between Ultimate and 616 where Reed Richards is working for NASA where he's attached to a project to open up a wormhole in Earth's orbit. He's the guy who planned how to open the wormhole in the first place and his Nobel Prize is being stolen from him at the last second when the fourth Astronaut on his shuttle had to take a leave of absence due to food poisoning so a whole new crew is about to enter the Negative Zone for the first time AND perform the particle experiments that Reed wanted to perform.

So Reed gets his brother-in-law to tag along and join his crew despite him being a high-school drop out with Reed's reasoning being that he's, "good for morale" which doesn't fly among his superiors so Reed just hijacks the shuttle with the other two remaining members of his crew + Johnny.

Naturally, everything goes wrong as Johnny's incompetence gets several of the particles they were shooting through the Negative Zone to hit their shuttle within the Negative Zone itself which damage the shuttle and cosmic rays sending a pulse through the shuttle which subjects the FF to the atmosphere of the Negative Zone itself despite the warnings given to "not leave the shuttle since it's unknown how exposure to an alternate universe would change matter, hence shooting particles inside first."

Reed, Sue and Ben repair the shuttle's hull breach and then set a course back to Earth. After crashlanding they pass out and find that they now have incredible super powers from Negative Zone exposure. Ben blames Reed and Johnny for turning him into a monster but mostly Johnny. And nobody noticed the Stowaway who snuck aboard their shuttle who now thanks to exposure to our reality has grown to the size of a man.

NASA now wants to cancel all further work with the Baxter institute, blaming privatization for a lack of regard for protocol which Doctor Franklin Storm denies and says that Reed, Sue and Ben are some of the most brilliant minds he knows but is shocked when he hears that his son was aboard the mission and wonders how NASA could have let such an idiot get past security.

Reed arrives back at Baxter and briefs NASA on what happened as well as the FF's new powers. He claims that despite the setbacks, the experiment can be called a success since Negative Zone exposure DOES transform matter from our universe and he's living proof. NASA decides to renew their contract with Baxter on the condition that three of Baxter's scientists and Franklin Storm's son are fired and in addition, the four of them are no longer allowed on NASA property lest they be charged with breaking and entering.

Meanwhile, Annhilus adapts to Earth's gravity and demonstrates that he has the power to open a portal to the Negative Zone.

Reed, Sue, Ben and Johnny receive funding for their discovery from Stark Industries to found their own astrophysics company called the Future Foundadation with new blue costumes that Sue designed. Reed's is extra durable and stretchy, Johnny's is fireproof, Sue's is able to manipulate light around it for perfect camouflage and Ben doesn't really need one but gets a blue tank top and shorts with with a giant F on the chest for "Future Foundation."

Naturally, Reed's new project about extra-dimensional biology becomes the first research needed for the FF to tackle if only to mitigate long term health problems resulting from the FF's transformation.

Annihilus summons the Annihilation Wave of all his conquered species from numerous worlds in the Negative Zone to come to Earth to slay the would be, "invaders" before they conquer his world.

The Annihilation Wave begins to destroy New York which gets Reed racing to NASA to let them know that he discovered that an Earthbound chemical has been proven to corrode the living tissue of the FF and it may prove useful in fighting the invaders from the Negative Zone. Naturally, he's denied entry and all four members of the FF are arrested. They manage to convince NASA while detained that it is possible to stop the Annihilation Wave but they need the FF to help them.

The FF team up with the National Guard to fight off the invaders and eventually encounter Annihilus who refers to the FF as "conquistadors" who seek to plunder his world.

The FF realize that sending Annihilus back to the Negative Zone is pointless since he's able to operate portals but they can stop him by transporting him elsewhere in OUR universe which would mean that his portals would send him to an unfamiliar part of the Negative Zone when he returns and he will be unlikely to threaten Earth again.

Annihilus and the Annihilation Wave are transported to who knows where and the FF are hailed by Ben Urich for the Daily Bugle's live webcast as "This Fantastic Four." Reed gets his Nobel Prize, Sue announces that she's pregnant and the Future Foundation gets a new grant from NASA to continue space exploration along with Baxter allowing the FF to rent space in the Baxter building.

After the credits, a Kree colony world is depicted with several Kree citizens spotting UFOs as the camera zooms out to show Annihilus and the Annihilation Wave in orbit, paving the way for the next GOTG movie.

And even without the MCU tie ins, this is a better treatment than Fox's current script. It mixes action, adventure, comedy and horror all in one film and it's also true to the characters by drawing on 616 and Ultimate to depict a version of the IP that's instantly recognizable.

I laughed really hard when I saw this Domashev on the front page. This movie will suck, and I REALLY want the rights to go back to Marvel, but I just can't take this seriously. I honestly think they're trolling us. There's just no way. They are truly making this movie very cheaply.

How would this even work? He hacks the city like in Watch Dogs? Steals identities? Gives classified material to Wikileaks? Sounds like the FBI could take care of him, why superheroes?

I really think Fox is trying to get vengeance on us for not liking their movie. So they're doing this little joke to piss us off. That crazy conspiracy theory just seems more likely than them accidentally making this stupid of a decision.

This will probably be the first movie I ever pirate.

Is Kebell trolling us?

Seriously...Corporate CEO Doom was bad enough, but this...I'd love to type what I think but it might overload the auto censor here.

No, Domaschev is trolling us. :o

If this movie bombs and I pray to the cosmic gods it does, how soon do you think Marvel can get the rights back?

Disney has made Billions off of Marvel, and stand to make tens of billions in the future, just throw some money at Fox and get the rights back. WTF arleady.

Its likely the worth of the property will go down. So disney will either wait and get it for free, or get it for a nice discounted price.
