Multiversers Application:
Character You Would Like To Play (list codename along with real name if applicable): Johnny C. (a.k.a. "Nny" or Johnny the Homicidal Maniac)
Powers (be as specific as you can/If you copy/paste this information from another website, link back to it, or it is considered plagiarism and is not allowed):
As fas as he knows, Johnny C. has no superhuman abilities. He is rather suspicious, however, about his uncanny ability to avoid capture and his seeming inability to actually die. Whether the authorities are just patently oblivious to the acts of horrendous violence he commits, or if there is some unseen force blinding them to his actions, he can't be sure.
Character Type (Chosen, Agent, or MRC and, if they are a MRC, are they a Hero or Villain):
Agent of Chaos
Universe History (give a brief description of the comic universe your character hails from/If you copy/paste this information from another website, link back to it, or it is considered plagiarism and is not allowed):
On the surface, Nny's world is not so different than many others: the average person goes along his/her life, painfully unaware of how wretched the whole thing is. The streets are decayed and littered with the waste of consumerism and society gone wrong...and that's just the people there. Sure, the real people are a little easier to pick out from the idiots, but the very real problem of this world is the sheer amount of idiots and the mental sewage they leave behind.
So every few centuries or so, the universe requires a 'waste-lock' to flush out the excess negativity that accrues after so long. This would effectively reboot the universe, now able to function a little more smoothly for a little while longer. Unfortunately for Nny, that job was bestowed upon him, either by God or Satan or someone else with a really sick sense of humor.
Character History (give as detailed a rundown on your character's history and origin as possible/If you copy/paste this information from another website, link back to it, or it is considered plagiarism and is not allowed):
Most memories of his early life have left him, either because of the layers and layers of frightening psychoses that have ravaged his mind, or because he was simply not supposed to remember them. He was always too skinny, always too quiet, always too creative for the other kids to not ostracize him. His real calling began some time in his twenties, when he moved into a mysterious house.
Beneath the seemingly unremarkable house was a labyrinth of underground tunnels and chambers, filled with hideous torture devices and implements of death. Spurred on by powerful voices from inside his head and out of it, he began wave after wave of kidnappings, torturing, and sprees of mass murder.
Over the years, he began to notice other denizens of his house. There was Nail-Bunny, the other half of his internal dialogues, personified by a rabbit he had nailed to a wall. There was the Thing Behind the Wall, which would ultimately break through and destroy the universe if he stopped painting the wall with blood. Most disturbing were the Doughboys, whom he had believed were other internal voices, but were in fact manifestations of the Wall-Thing meant to sap him of his strength. Whether these things actually existed or if he was just going more insane wasn't particularly clear to him, but it did eventually lead to his committing suicide and (possibly) the end of the universe.
After a short visit to Heaven and Hell, where he learned the true nature of his existence--either that or a really stupid dream during which he shaved off most of his hair-- Nny awoke to a new take on life, no longer needing to kill unsuspecting idiots in order to feed the Wall-Thing. Now he would only kill unsuspecting idiots when he found it appropriate!
Hindered only by the personification of his base animal instincts (given the form of a ceramic burger-boy named Reverend MEAT), Johnny C. has left the old house behind and is undertaking a quest to rid himself of all emotion.
Personality (give a detailed description of your character's personality):
Johnny is extremely introverted and cynical, having learned long ago that emotional attachment to other people almost always leads to pain. Never really sure if he is really being manipulated by forces greater than his understanding or if he is just crazy, Nny tends to take out his confusion and frustration on everyone he can find.
Though he admits to doing extremely horrible things, he has a twisted sense of morality, refusing to kill people he doesn't think deserve it. He really took a shining to Squee, the boy next-door, and attempted to take him under his proverbial wing, but mostly wound up traumatizing the poor kid.
He kind of remembers that he might have been an artist at one point, now he vents his remaining shreds of creativity in his 'Happy Noodle Boy' comic strips, which have become very popular with the homeless and insane.
Speech Color and Font (actually say what color and font you are going to use, don't just say "like this". It makes it a lot easier to add you to the roster this way):
Book Antiqua, Bold, Size 3
What can you bring to this game:
An experienced RP'er (and former Goth kid, which is why I chose JTHM) who can tell some pretty good stories, write some solid dialogue, and display a pretty f--king dark sense of humor.
Do you know how to post pictures on the Hype! Boards:
Sample Post (write a sample post as your character that is at least 4 medium-sized paragraphs long and contains at least 1 line of dialogue in the style you plan on playing your character in):
The loss of emotion is something that most people see as a horrible thing. They go on and on about how our emotions are the only thing that separates us from the other animals. And really, that's exactly why I want to get rid of them. Emotions make people irrational. They make us hurt when we shouldn't, force our own misery and anger on others, turn everyone into snarling apes behind false smiles.
A perfect example of this is the establishment I'm entering right now. It's a bubbling cauldron of everything that's f--ked up with the human race, a roiling basin of vanity and perversity. It's where people turn themselves into caricatures of themselves in order to impress the other caricatures, turning their need for basic contact into a flea market of flesh.
Most people just call it a night club.
"Hey, you!" the bouncer yells at me. He gives me a look that most people would only reserve for a pile of dog sh-t, and motions towards the door. "No way your goofy-looking ass is getting in here. Now get outta here."
"Ahh, yes. There it is; the exclusion of individuality, the predisposition to reject and hate anything that doesn't fit into what everyone else tells you is acceptable. I think I'm going to enjoy expressing myself for a good while tonight..."
HOURS LATER...
I'll say this for dance clubs. They give you a hell of a workout.
