I'm glad you agree...I feel like it's a pretty big issue that's being overlooked.
This isn't typical fan boy whining by the way - this is simply an 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' look at things. They had a great design in TIH and it would help with the consistency and continuity if they stuck to it.
And yes, I'm well aware it's not totally fair to make judgements on something we haven't even seen yet. Yes, the design very well could be the most breathtakingly perfect Hulk possible and I'm just a whiner.
But we've heard snippets from Ruffalo, and to be honest, 'swinging arms like a gorilla', and ESPECIALLY 'just like me but green and bloated' sounds terrible.
Bottom line: when I look at the Hulk in the avengers, I want to see the
Hulk in all his big green comic book-glory, and nothing even resembling a big green
Mark Ruffalo-esque gorilla. That would really take away from the movie in my opinion.
But the motion capture thing is great. I love that they chose to go that direction because I feel like Ruffalo doing the motions will bring it all together. It's just the aesthetics of the Hulk himself that I'm concerned about.
That's honestly my only worry with this entire film, which so far is a good sign
