Ultra HQ pic of the Hulk..

Best. Hulk. CGI. Ever.

Check out the level of detail. It's on par with the sand/dirt particles on the 2003 model.

Idk man; i find this version to be the most realistic looking one ever!:o

greatest part about that poster is that the cg in the movie looks even better imo.

I'm just trying to figure out how the Hulk is lit from the right and Hawkeye is lit from the left. That poster is just so poorly assembled. (Whoah, an ironic pun! :exp:)

Man, i can't wait to get to know "The Hulk" as a legitimate character for once. If our hopes are true and reports are accurate, then The Avengers will really give us a Hulk with several layers to his character for once.

I'm tired of just seeing a live action Hulk that mostly growls and smashes things, with it looking as though it wouldn't be able to really interact with anyone.

Hulk was a perfectly legitimate entity in TIH.

It was a fantastic start for the character & with Banner's induced transformation at the closing of the film one could see the character becoming more than just a mute beast in future outings.

Great origin picture that we probably won't get to see a continuation to.

TIH needed to show hulk act as a character instead of a cg plot device, would love to see hulk voice his thoughts. TIH2 needs a thinking/speaking hulk that can connect with the audience whether it be with a snarky dark humor like comment or whether it be an emotion driven thought or idea.

What Gamma said ^^^

The Hulk only had Three Lines in the film; the first being somewhat barely audible for most people during a first viewing, and it really didn't do anything different from what I saw out of Ang's Hulk.

My definition of a perfect interpretation of the Hulk is what EMH's has done with the character so far.

Imho, we NEED to see Banner interact with the Hulk on screen as well someday.

Something I don't think has been discussed is how Hulk gets to the final battle, is he already Hulk and goes willingly? Is Banner already in New York when the invasion begins, something happens and he Hulks out? Or does Banner induce a Hulk out purposely to fight the aliens? As far as we know Shield doesn't actually want Hulk, they want Banner's Gamma expertise.

We don't really know yet.

Though I think it would be an interesting plotline if SHIELD (Nick Fury specifically) were against Hulk being in the team because of his instability and their lack of control over him, but are persuaded by someone in the team (perhaps Stark) that Banner has learnt how to exercise some control over the beast and would be an invaluable addition. And eventually the Hulk proves himself.

Couldn't have said it better.

EMH has the perfect hulk. I love him. For an angry guy he has alot of personality and humor. Makes you care about him.

I really would like to see a similar portrayal as they did in EMH. That Hulk is far more interesting than anything we've see on film so far

I thought Abomination looked much more badass in TIH than he does in the comics, but that's just my opinion.

And there's nothing wrong with having one.

Yea, and to be honest, I think he made more sense in the context of how he became the Abomination, an exaggerated humanoid

Well this is where I differ. Anytime someone argues sense, logic or reason with anything in a fantasy world I have an issue. A Fantasy world has it's own logic and laws of science. In the Marvel Universe gamma rays in particular, changes a person that can survive the radiation, into a a different residual image of their deepest selves. It was either writer Roy Thomas or Roger Stern that made that revelation. That being said, albeit never stated for fact in a comic, it's possible that Banner, who was abused by the very person that should have loved him the most and a scientist, sees man as savages, hence he manifests Hulk as neanderthalish and barbaric; Jennifer Walter's in human form is sexually repressed, so when she manifests as She-Hulk, she is sexy and flirtatious. Doc Samson's hero growing up was the Biblical Samson thus he became the image of what he believed that Samson to be.

As far as Blonsky in the comic book, originally he was a spy, so it could be that he appeared like a "cold blooded" reptile who is "snakey" in his ways.

This is where I fault Ang Lee's Hulk which I enjoy and why I believe a comic book fan would at least make a better writer and director of scripts for theses movies, because they would understand that comic book films have their own laws and physics.

This I was unaware of, and while honestly I still think there could be some more logic(used very lightly, mixing lizard DNA and what not doesnt actually make a reptilian humanoid) used, I would have accepted a reptilian Abomination as readily as what we got. But I would have prefered something more:

or

than

I tried finding that image, it was in an issue of Wizard talking about TIH Abomination with a quote from the director saying he would be "mean, green and scaly"
I didnt see any scales in the finale version

I think that might have been Empire Magazine, but I could be wrong. Letterier said many things that now makes my stomach turn, when I think of the unimaginative shallowness of them. Many movie makers just don't understand the super hero appeal, some take the movies too serious while most make them too silly and campy.

They just need to understand that these characters are like the real world only living in one in which certain characters gain tremendous power due to different laws of science.

The scene that frustrated me the most was the one with Hulk and Betty in the cave. It was the perfect opportunity to build the Hulk's character...but he just stares at her and yells at the lightning. Ugh...

Agreed, I've been saying this for about a year now.

So what are you saying? That he shoulda started a conversation with her about how the Nets gave away a draft pick that coulda made the team half-decent? Right.

Hulk talking needed to be saved for TIH2 where Banner had began to command Hulk instead of the other way around.

A chatterbox Hulk in TIH woulda killed the film.
