Venom bombing is the only way to guarantee Spidey stays home

How dare you. They're making a Morbius movie starring Jared Leto, that means they're smart. As a company, Sony are not known for being smart.
The opposite should happen, they will realize that without the MCU - Spider-Man will not workNot guaranteed. If Venom bombs, Sony may also look at it like "we need Spider-Man back with us, these films without him aren't going to work."
Who are buying into it? FFINO defenders? Foxmen?
Man, Bob Iger is going have egg on his face! His company releases multiple statements welcoming the FF into the fold. But the rights were NEVER Fox's to sell! The fool forgot to consider CONSTANTIN!
Try reading the contracts next time, Bobby!
I think he signed a contract for six films. Sony can do what they want after the next one.
But Spider-Man has only five MCU appearances slated thus far: CW, Homecoming, IW, A4 and FFH. That leaves one more solo to complete the six film commitment (Home Again, Home Again?). Right?

You guys keep thinking it's only about Sony. As was mentioned before Disney has no incentive to resign this deal unless Sony makes more concessions and loosens their grip on the license.

So what does Marvel Studios get in return out of this deal? Besides getting to play with a toy theyve been eyeing for a very long time now, they get to use Tom Hollands Peter Parker in a set number of MCU movies (five in total, per this initial agreement, including Homecoming and its sequel).
Not only that, but Iger also forgot that Deadpool's rights are tied up with Artisan Entertainment and New Line, according to the geniuses commenting over there. Is he ever gonna be shocked when that mess unravels! We all know that neither he nor Feige are authorities where the rights are concerned. And won't we look silly when it turns out that all of our hopes are unfounded and the rights to the FF and X-Men are still with another studio that no longer exists?

since Sony has no other successful franchises at the moment except for Spidey and arguably Jumanji, I could see Disney not offering money for the Spidey rights but instead some of the franchises purchased in the Fox deal, that don't fit their family friendly image
Here's a random thought: What if Reed Richards was one of the people who was wiped out after the snap and after he comes back when everything is fixed in avengers 4 it makes him much more motivated to get a space program started to traverse the cosmos? That could serve as part of Reed's motivation to steal the spaceship because he notices leftover Infinity Stone radiation(replacing the 616 cosmic rays) on a microscope wants to go out and harness it or something but before he could do that the government decides to cut the funding for the space program. Reed is haunted by the devastating incident that wiped out half of humanity so much hes obsessed with getting access to the Infinity Stone energy leftover in space.
The people buying the Constantin fable are typical low-information fanbois. In other words, they're fans who get all of their news and analysis from the "journalists" at cbm. They actually seem to know less about the rights situation than non-fans do.

That's how I'd do it. 30-something famous scientist Reed (actor could go as old as Osaac Isaac if that's socially acceptable with Sue), Jake Johnson as Benjamin Grimm, an Air Force or Navy veteran who always wanted to be an astronaut, and Sue Storm as a young grad student. Johnny doesn't make much sense though.
