Would be even better if it wraps up before the Captain Marvel press tour begins. I imagine Feige will probably still be tight lipped though.

Also, Mexico is another important Latin American market and a Bloomberg article says that there are concerns about Cable sports (Fox/ESPN) especially Soccer which Mexico loves very much.

if Brazil is approving then those other countries will likely follow suit. I think we're in the end game now.

2019 Predictions: What’s in Store for Film, TV and Music Next Year?
Apple Shells Out for Sony Pictures

The Silicon Valley giant will finally recognize it could use some Hollywood expertise as it tries to catch up with Netflix’s and Amazon’s streaming services. Buying Sony gives Apple access to a library that includes “Men in Black,” “Breaking Bad” and “Jumanji,” as well as the right to make more “Spider-Man” movies. That’s a web Apple would be lucky to spin. Also, buying a studio is basically a rounding error for a company worth $1 trillion.
Wait, is this really what would happen if Apple (or another company) bought Sony?

Spider-Man coming home would be amazing. Even though Venom ended up being a guilty pleasure for me Id be fine losing out on the sequels if it means Spidey could take his rightful place in the MCU once marvel gets the full rights.

Apple and Disney have a good relationship so this could work out really well for Spider-Man’s MCU tenure post-Far From Home.

Bleedingcool actually picked up on the Apple buying Sony rumour back in March but no one believed them. These things take time. Well have to wait and see if someone like CNBC reports on it but its curious dont you think? That now variety has this "speculative" article out there. 9 months after Bleedingcool heard about it.

Rumour: Apple to Buy Sony?

Are we skipping over their Tony Stark prediction?

Good news. Looks like we may have it done in time for Marvel to maybe sneak something into A4

Current rumor going around is that there's going to be something Eternals related at the end of A4. They're reportedly already casting two of the lead Eternals so that they can cameo in Endgame to tease their movie. I would not expect anything X-Men or FF related this early in the game.

That seems believable to me.

That feels odd to me. A4 post-credit scene being about teasing The Eternals movie sounds a bit... disappointing? I feel like Marvel would do something a bit bigger than that. They know there will be hype for the post credit scene of A4. And even if they're preparing cameos during the movie to tease The Eternals, it still sounds off. Captain Marvel didn't cameo in IW. There were talks about having Beta Ray Bill there too, but they decided not to go through with it because there wasn't enough time to introduce him properly. So I don't see them introducing the Eternals there. And also, they didn't have to do that for Guardians.

Regarding the FOX deal, I think there could be enough time for some easter eggs, like showing the Baxter building or throwing some names. Or even a Silver Surfer post-credit scene. Regarding the X-Men, the only thing I can see them doing, and that depending on what they have in mind, is throwing the word mutants.

Who wants to see the Externals as a post credit scene? That wouldn't be exciting as the general audience donut know who they are. I'd rather see a tease of Fantastic Four or X-Men.

And Apple buying Sony would be a great way for Marvel to get Spider-Man back if he does revert. Disney can't buy Sony themselves so this would work just as well as an alternative.

Uh, yeah. I second that. Nobody cares about Eternals, Marvel getting two of their biggest franchises back Is a far bigger deal than Eternals. What they add to Endgame doesn't have to be something big, it could simply -- as Willie said, be small Easter eggs they add for fans. They can easily add dialogue to the movie in post that references the world of F4/XM

Nobody cares about Eternals

Most of the audience doesn't care about most of these characters period prior to being introduced to them. Didn't stop 'em from a post-credit scene plugging Captain Marvel's movie at the end of Infinity War. Eternals are right now ahead of the line, so them being teased isn't shocking.

Daniel RPK is saying the rights automatically revert back to Marvel if Apple buys Sony
In the same twitter someone posted something from an old Sony contract that pretty much said something along these lines.

This is from an old contract though so maybe it's not the case anymore with the new contract.

I don't even think most comic fans know who the Eternals are. I'm a diehard comic fan and don't think I own any Eternal comics. It would make sense for a X-men, Galactus or F4 teaser at the end to give the fans something to look forward to.

I can't remember where it was posted, but the contract they had pre-Homecoming was transferable, meaning Sony had the right to sell the asset to someone else. It is possible once the Homecoming deal was made that changed, though. But I don't think it is a guarantee. Apple buying Sony would also take time to process (much like the Disney/Fox deal). Meaning a Venom 2 and Morbius likely are made and out before it would become final. This is again assuming the rights would revert. We don't honestly know for sure.

An Eternals post credit scene is more realistic than X-Men/F4. I know we all want it to happen but I wouldn't get too hyped about it because I doubt it will happen. End Game was in development long before the Fox deal came to fruition. The post credit scenes would have been decided a long time ago.
