McMahon's Doom got his powers the sane way as the rest of the FF in the same space ship. There's no more origin for him. And who cares about his life before that as just an ordinary civilian? He's deluded into thinking anyone wants to see his movies except for maybe DigificWriter and some other FFINO defenders.

Maybe he and Toby Kebell can make a movie together. Call it Doom and Gloom. It might be a bit like Dumb and Dumber. Although maybe it should be Doom and Dummy. :o

As far as im concerned if its not in the MCU its a fake. I get that its important to have different voices and interpretations in hollywood but when its not authentic or coming from the original creators who understand the source material and arent just in it for the dollar signs.

I wont suport Sony or Fox marvel movies due to that reason. Why not create some original IP based off other comics like Fox did with Kingsman?

The Fox xmen films and Sony spiderman films while not authentic adaptations did have their moments and some solid casting as well. But beyond that their fakes. Sony has made it clear they give no thought about the soure material the fact that they want a movie every 2 years is proof they cant be trusted. All they see are $$$ signs. its a miracle into the spiderverse ended up as good as it did.

The fact that fox failed 3 times with the F4 should be proof enough. how do you fail 3 times? Makes you wonder if xmen wasnt a fluke.

You can be a fan of the Sony and Fox Marvel films just dont try and act like their authentic adaptations of the source material or somehow above the MCU cause their dark and gritty. Theyre not.

I’m a huge MCU fan, but I really loved “Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse”.

If some people hate the MCU, then that’s their thing and honestly it doesn’t effect me. Their feelings can’t change what’s coming up. They may feel they have to vent and whatnot and that’s cool as I did my share of venting at Fan4stic, ASM2, and XM:A.

I will check out X-Men: Dark Phoenix eventually out of curiousity alone, however that doesn’t change the fact I am VERY excited and looking forward to seeing the F4 and X-Men in the MCU (and I really think it won’t be as far off as many think).

Well Stan Lee is dead now (and how involved was he ever as an "original creator"??) so you better start calling all these MCU films "fake adaptations" :whatever:

:funny::pal: You make it seem like the Fox version of the X-Men was the bootleg version and technically, you're not wrong. The formula became tired for me after Singer came back. I was ready for a new take on the franchise.

As someone who knew the X-Men from the comic books, the X-Films never even felt close to right. The powers and visuals in the comics were bold and big and the films always felt small and sedate with too much focus on Magneto and Xavier.

I'm expecting Marvel to give me something much closer to the comics. The thing is now, most X-Men fans are probably more familiar with the films than the comics. Will they rebel when they see the real X-Men or will they accept Marvel's vision?

If I were to guess, I'd think the hard-core fans will grumble and find fault, but the broader audience will love what Marvel gives us and many people who weren't particular fans of the Fox-men will become fans of the Marvel version.

Not to mention Marvel made bank even after initially selling the licenses. The exposure alone is enough to increase their profits. People always said, the best marketing for comics are the movies. Not only that but in working with those studios Feige learned the ropes to do what he did with Marvel Studios. Everything worked out for the best in the end.
If Marvel can make the most successful X-Men movie without Wolverine then I will forever see them as the studio that makes the impossible possible.
That's not impossible to do. There's tons to work with, Wolverine is just the easiest route to go. And given Marvel's track record they'd have no problem pulling that off.

Not to mention that Wolverine is not even the best X-Men. It's just that the general audience doesn't know it... yet.

Yeah, because every I see Bill and Ted, I always think to myself, “Hey, why isn’t that guy playing Logan!?”.

After watching the first John Wick I think he'd fit better as Taskmaster, though I have no complaints if he ends up playing Wolverine.

"Come on Brazil and Mexico approve the deal already so this can be done by the New Year." End of rant, I know I am saying this but I am so impatient that I want this darn deal to be done. I know they have concerns but deep down I feel like boycotting them, but hopefully, things can work it.
