storm being the first mutant would be awesome. Since its normally wolverine who gets the spotlight.
Hopefully there is a gap before Wolverine is introduced. I still want him to become a massive MCU character but it would be cool for the X-Men to get some breathing room at first to let other characters get the spotlight.

I don't see the gap being longer than a few years. Well probably see a new wolverine by no later than 2021/22. By then it will be a few years after Logan and I think the audience will be ready for a recast. In fact id say most people are probably ready now if it meant seeing him along side the Avengers.

I guess the main thing is that when he appears in X-Men films I want it to be as a co-star and fellow lead rather than THE star. If they can manage that while introducing him early then that's fine.

That means they had an insane marketing budget, LOL! If break even was that high. That means they spent more marketing the movie than making it. I do have a hard time believing that.

Yeah, marketing wouldn’t have been that high. I’m telling you, a 2 multiplier was kinda the old equation. It’s much closer to a 3 now with all the factors. Again, it’s just a ballpark type of way to see if they cover or not.

Hoping once Disney Streaming becomes live, it comes to like the new Hulu or something for season 3.

Now hoping that Marvel Studios take Iron Fist themselves for their new streaming service.

I wonder if they would do a reboot, though.

I really don’t see the demand for Iron Fist season 3 being strong enough for Marvel/Disney to take great strides to bring the show back from cancellation. Sure, Season 2 is generally acknowledged as being a vast improvement over the abysmal first season but I kind of feel it still remains one of the weaker Netflix shows. The Iron Fist show doesn’t really have a loyal, rabid fanbase, that really wants another season like a show like Young Justice which actually had a good first season. Now if Daredevil was cancelled prematurely yeah since that show is the gold standard of the Netflix corner of the MCU and unlike the rest of the MCU Netflix shows it’s been consistent in quality so I can definitely see Marvel/Disney bringing it back in some other form but Iron Fist? Fat chance.

Aside from maybe a cameo in a future season of Luke Cage(assuming it gets renewed for a third season) I think we’ve most likely seen the last of the Immortal Iron Fist

I have little doubt that this is mostly due to the backlash from the first season. For the love of God Marvel, don't hire Scott Buck again! He's now killed two shows!

Maybe Marvel will get him on one of their streaming shows. Or he could replace James Gunn on Guardians.

No reboot. Rebooting would basically make asa the Defenders shows non cannon. I would instantly lose interest. Just do another season, use him for guest spots, or let it die

Let it die. The show was terrible and deserved it's fate. Another miss for Loeb

I'd love them to reboot it, but they'll probably give this cast cameos in the other shows.

Just forget about the show and have the actor be support on other Netflix shows. Could have the Heroes for Hire in the Luke Cage show or something.

My problem with the Netflix shows are that the only two strong actors are Kristen Ritter and Charlie Cox. The other two aren't strong enough to carry their own show, Luke Cage is the least interesting character in his show. Pair up Luke Cage and Iron Fist, have a good script and then we may have a decent show.

That’s probably the best way to go. Iron Fist isn’t a character that most care about and his show was about average at best. This isn’t Daredevil we’re talking about.

Stop scaring me like that! I want to have good dreams, tonight!

it makes me wonder if they had some sort of two season deal so they couldnt just cancel it after season 1 i remember being stunned it got a season 2.

Sadly, with the way Disney's rep has taken a major hit among creatives in the industry the past couple of months, Buck may be their best option. :(

They should make a Heroes for Hire series, instead of canning Iron Fist. They should also take Typhoid Mary to Daredevil since she's more of a DD villain anyway.

I'm old enough to remember when everyone was crazy about the Netflix shows and was asking for every big Marvel character in existence (including Spider-Man. Yes, that happened) to get one. Ah, how things have changed.

Iron Fist and his world deserved better than a crummy, low-budget show... and I say this as someone who's not even a fan of the character. Oh well, at least there's still Shang-Chi.

I was bored especially with Season 2 of Luke Cage. I found Iron Fist Season 2 more watchable and interesting. But the damage was already done. I think they should put Cage and Fist together in their own show, because neither of them are interesting enough to carry it with their acting or the way they tell their stories.

Man... that Scott Buck is like some kind of reverse King Midas. Does Marvel have a character that turns everything he touches to ****? If they don't, they should. They can call him Buckman.

Maybe they'll hire Scott Buck for the next FF movie when it comes back to Marvel. Then they'll wonder why FF has failed yet again. :o

If any time it should've been cancelled, it was after Season 1 when interest for the show was at its lowest. Now that it improved in Season 2, they go and cancel it. So it means that they think Buck did a better job since he earned them an extra season? :o

What do you mean old enough to remember? It's not like the Netflix shows started 10 years ago or more.
