I knew Danger Girl wasn't Marvel but I didn't realize it was DC. I thought it was independent. Did it come over via the Image Comics buyout?

Are those Netflix characters separated out because of the supposed 2 years that Marvel needs to wait before they can use them again?
I'm guessing

that was updated quickly! lol

Looks like Kinberg and Donner will still be on board as executive producers I read. Luckily Feige will still be overlord.

Yes but my point is that EP title can mean little in terms of driving the creative product. So I'm not worried about Kinberg's "involvement".

I actually like them in EP roles imo.

Didn't an MCU EP leave the MCU to work for fox? lol welcome back! :D

My guess it may have been part of the meger contract that they at least be given credit on any films that get released that were in development at fox marvel prior to the merger.

Do Constantin even make films? I always thought maybe they were some obscure studio that somehow managed to get the rights to FF but had no way of financing anything themselves.
Ever heard of The Downfall or Das Boot?

They're just trying to market the movie. Nothing more, nothing less. Or do you guys think they should stop marketing Dark Phoenix too?

I don't know if Cyks will be as popular as others and I'm thinking Wolverine will still be the top dog as far as face of the x men and most popular...But I do have faith they'll do him justice and make him a good leader than anything done in the fox films

It sounds more like it was a pre- established agreement made looong ago. I'm sure Disney can stop it if they really want to

Marvel can't use the Netflix chatacters in the MCU even if they wanted to for 2 years?

Black Panther 2 is due in 2021. Maybe Storm is the 1st mutant?
almost 95% of the marvel fans have already expressed this expectation/desire/guess.
so would be a real surprise if Feige doesnt end doing it

Not that I think they would want to anyways. If Feige wanted to use them, he wouldn't have let Netflix have them in the first place. They'd probably be sitting on the bench like Inhumans.

I really hope the Defenders don't get restricted to just Disney + after those 2 years. I really want Daredevil, Luke Cage and King Pin in the MCU films so bad!

Iron Fist could maybe team up with Shang Chi in Shang Chi 2

Nope. Never.

Or the Resident Evil films.

I didn't know they were by Constantin.

weren't they co-produced with Sony?

I always thought they were by someone else anyway, not Constantin. Constantin almost seemed like a myth invented by Digific Writer.

I don't want those Defenders on the big screen. I want the real Defenders: Hulk, Dr Strange, Namor, Silver Surfer, Valkyrie, Nighthawk and the real Hellcat.

If they want DD, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, they can do a Heroes for Hire film. Just don't call these guys the Defenders.
