Mystique should be benched for a few films. Not only is she over-exposed, she's also not an X-Man. The reboot needs to concentrate on the team instead of giving most of the attention to villains.
What excites me about the MCU X-Men is finally seeing things done right. And I want Rogue to be done right this time. And Mystique is a part of that.
I guess if they really want to avoid using Mystique again, they can just transfer her dynamic with Rogue to Irene/DestinyWhat excites me about the MCU X-Men is finally seeing things done right. And I want Rogue to be done right this time. And Mystique is a part of that.
I see no reason to avoid using any character. Just because a different studio screwed them up is no reason to avoid using said character, if you have a great idea on how to use them.I guess if they really want to avoid using Mystique again, they can just transfer her dynamic with Rogue to Irene/Destiny

Hypothetically speaking. If Marvel wanted to pull a "Homecoming" on MystiqueI see no reason to avoid using any character. Just because a different studio screwed them up is no reason to avoid using said character, if you have a great idea on how to use them.
Rogue is long overdue.
They could do a whole Disney + series or movie on her backstory all by herself. I just love that whole Rogue/Mystique/Nightcrawler/Destiny soap opera.

I don't know why, but stop it.Simon Kinberg Wants Gambit To Happen At Disney
Why do I feel bad for Kinberg? Like, I'm not being sarcastic. I'm genuinely starting to feel bad for the guy
I don't believe he ever did pick one up.The last two pages in this thread were hilarious. I think Simon Kinberg needs to be banned from ever picking up a comic book again. Imagine if he was the Kevin Feige of the DCEU.![]()
Why suggest her for the role, when she could play Emma Frost.Charlize gotta be MCU Raven Darkholme.

So is there really a chance that Sony might pull Spidey off the MCU? Based on what exactly? And for what? So they could use him in that stupid Venom franchise? They would be absolutely insane to do such a thing, not only are they going to piss off the general audience who is already loving Holland in the MCU, but they will ruin their Venom and "solo villains" movies by casting a new Spidey and saying "no more Holland in the MCU you guys, Spidey in Venom and Morbius from now on, lol". Ugh. The more I hear about Sony's "solo villains" movies the more, well, frustrated I get. That Morbius movie? Oh dear...
They better renew their contract with Marvel Studios.
Sony could decide they want Spidey all for themselves, especially if Morbius surprises and turns into a Venom style hit. But there's just as likely a possibility that Iger and Horn don't want to keep making movies for Sony and having them keep the lion's share of the profits. With thousands of characters now available from the Fox purchase, does the Mouse want to put the time and effort into making Spider Man: Old Folks Home for Sony when they could put that time and effort into films involving the FF or the X-Men character families and retain all of those profits?
My thinking is that there will be an extension of the MCU agreement to finish the trilogy and another Spidey appearance for Marvel. Then MCU Spider-Man will be put on hiatus for as long as it takes for Sony to come back to the bargaining table.

It will be nice to get over the one billion mark to start with. Once the MCU-X verse has the depth that allows a tale like IW to be told efficiently with so many characters involved, and in a comparable timeframe, anything could happen. It's not like these $2b numbers for the MCU were predictable after Iron Man and TIH. Even BP and CM weren't predictable directly before release, and even despite all the MCU's box office success to that point. If they get it right over the next 10-12 years, all bets are off.‘Avengers: Endgame’ China Release Set On April 24; $800M+ WW Opening In Sight?
That's- wow, that's a lot of money. Makes you wonder if X-Men can ever achieve this
