i have yet to understand how my ex begs me for months to take her back because she "loves " me so much, then shows little to no appreciation when i finally do, then dumps me for the 3rd time in a row because i've " changed " so much, and immediately goes out with some other guy, and EVERY ****ING STATUS ON FACEBOOK is about how much she " loves " him. after like a week.

if it were that easy to get over me , then why the **** would you ask me to come back to you for so long in the first place ?

He's right. Competed in two competitions. I don't hate the sport by any means, in fact I'm a little perturbed at the knee-jerk reaction they're having right now trying to fix the competitions image (male physique?!? Board shorts??!! Really??? It's supposed to be a sideshow).

Ya though, Bodybuilding or the "bodybuilder" physique, in my opinion should not be pursued to attract women. Most women are very turned off by too much muscle. They're more into that actor and male model physique. Fit but not big.

Also, I have a pet peeve about judging people over tattoos and personal style. She may be a horrid person, but at the same time you can be from the hood, look like your from the hood, talk like your from the hood and be a completely capable and nice individual. Never judge books by their covers. Most of the issues posters have on this thread is misjudging women based on appearances. In fact the whole discussion kind of undermines SuperMike's typical reasoning. If girls who look like "sweet innocent choir girls" can be freaks turned on by alpha males, then you really can't say someone's a freak just because their style choices clash with yours.

I think you have a lot of work to do on yourself first. You got rejected by a girl and were very hurt by it, now all you talk about is just saying you'll bang any girl that crosses your path. Learn to be yourself, from your posts, you are not a "playa" and trying to act like one isn't going to lead anywhere because any girl will be able to see through your act.

and....THIS. Honestly, it just doesn't work that way. You be yourself and the right person, coincidence or not, will like you for who you are. Trust me, i'm going through the same ordeal, and one thing that keeps coming back to me is that I'm not going to change myself for someone who isn't willing to do the same.

And it helps. That attitude does -- a lot better than putting on a mask of pretense or bravado.

The only thing I'm trying to do right now is stop whining about how my heart was torn to pieces... yeah... still working on that but hey, at least I'm on a path :P

Once you start to like a girl, all that tough guy stuff is flying out the window. And women are gonna see right through a tough facade. An urban/hoodrat woman is gonna chew you up and spit you out.

Honestly though, he's just chasing after the wrong girl. She and I used to hang out and do drugs (and ya'know then f***) and he's completely clean. He needs to keep after girls more like him.

I'm beginning to realize that most girls around me are...heck forget that, most people around me... are not like me.

And honestly, it doesn't bother me all that much anymore. If the girl your friend is chasing does care for him--and it comes from an honest place--then, y'know, **** social differences and practices. They're people after all. He just needs to bail before it gets worse.

I remember that old bit about a body builder. Big swoll guy takes this chick up to his apartment to have sex for the first time. While she's lying in the bed, he takes off his jacket and says, BAM TNT arms! Then he takes off his shirt, and says, BAM TNT chest! Takes off his pants. BAM TNT legs! Then, he takes off his underwear and she screams and jumps out the window. I'm unclear as to the legal/illegal status of steroids in bodybuilding...but yes, if you're taking artificial testosterone, your body will stop making natural testosterone and certain things will shrink (ahem, down there) and other things might grow (mmm, moobs).
