Of course there is always the possibility that she won't, but I think there is only a 1-5% chance that she'll survive.

There is just too much evidence that suggest she'll die. From things that the cast has said, down to her outfit. She's a goner.

And don't forget all the foreshadowing from the first film.

That also. And the tingling of his spider-sense during the final swing, as Picard pointed out before.

Yup!

And it was confirmed that it was a nod to Gwen's death.

Another thing: there was an easter egg in Oscorp that showed a hologram of a Rhino. And guess who appears in TASM2? ;)

I mentioned this before, but captain Stacy's dying words to Peter is also a very big foreshadow.

He said that those closest to Spider-Man are going to get hurt… *cough* Gwen.

The more I see of Max, the more I feel sorry for him. This version of Max Dillon takes inspiration from the storyline in the 616 universe where Max's father abandoned him and his mother. Because of that, his mom became overprotective and never really let him grow up, so he became a man-child.

He's actually the only sympathetic villain in a Spider-Man movie for whom i actually felt sorry, even from the trailers. I'd better bring some tissues when i go to see the movie. lol

Sandman was supposed to be sympathetic, but he was just silly… "I'm committing crimes so I can pay for my daughter's medicine. That makes it okay!" Sigh.

Doc Ock I felt sorry for, but not to the extend of sorrow I have for Max Dillon.

Jamie Foxx is going to kill it!!!! Awesome casting right there. But as Jamie himself said, Dane Dehaan is going to steal the show.

Holy ***** i just realized i can't wait for this movie anymore!

I just realized what's going to happen!

At the mid-credits they are going to show someone from Oscorp (Menken, Otto or Alistaire) open a drawer within a morgue type room and reveal the dead corpse of Norman. They will then eject him with a serum which will bring him back.

Then they will open the next drawer to reveal Gwen!

I'm joking (I hope)!

I think that was a pretty good hypothesis (don't worry, i'm joking too).

Interesting idea.. though I doubt they will bring Gwen back. Still a cool theory, though, especially when applying it to Norman.

Honestly, I feel the reverse (as of now). I would like to be a bit surprised when she dies, and if she does die in this film, then it's been all be given away in the trailers. However, because the clues are so heavy handed, it is one of the reasons I think she may not. It's somewhat surprising that they would put so much of it in there.

Still, it all comes down to execution. If it's handled well, I won't mind. It still doesn't sit right with me though. I don't see the point of building up Norman as the big bad and not allowing him his most iconic moment as a villain, and I really would like MJ to be an established presence before Gwen bites it.

 This is exactly how I feel.

Sony gave us 25 minutes worth of footage from TASM1, so its no surprise they would give away her death for TASM2 through trailers and clips.

I'm fine with Gwen dying in this film, in fact I want it to happen in this film. But with that said I would of liked if MJ was introduced before Gwen's death as well. But I do think they made the right decision to cut MJ from this film.

Has anyone figured out how many minutes of footage we have this time?

I actually took a concept that I think might happen (Norman dying, and then being brought back) and coupled that with the terrible concept of bringing Gwen back.

Could you imagine them turning Gwen into Menace, or worse, Scream or Agony?

Mr. Webb, please do not do this.
