Nobody said they should give him a CGI mask. Speaking for myself, i proposed using CGI on the neck. Instead of pads and other such solutions, they could just put together cape and cowl by using CGI in between. Its that simple. You guys do know that Transformers and Ironman are all CGI right? RDJ barely used the practical suit, which btw also requires CGI to polish it and make the plastic look like metal.
Thanks! This one makes so much sense that it should be it's own thread and everyone should send this to WB...
I'm sick of armors as well. If he makes a bigger one just to beat Bane it will be such a cop out.I'm sick of armors at this point. I know we'll be getting a rubber suit but please, make it more akin to the comics, give us something original (on film). I read that The Shadow was one of Finger and Kane's biggest influences next to Zorro when they were making ol' Pointy Ears, why not draw inspiration from that? Nolan's Batman has a touch of film-noir about everything, so Batman interpreted as a moving, nigh elemental fragment of the night would NOT be akin to Tim Burton's Batman, in fact, if the suit is designed around this theme it could become an ambient symbol, a throwback to the accentuated shadows in film-noir, rather than being a Gothic beast. Why not reemphasise the Jungian Archetype of the shadow as well?
Yes I know, I'm obsessed with penumbras this week.
Well...they'll have to come up with a storyline in which he switches suits again....if Lucius Fox is still working with him. While I don't want a thick metallic armor design, like at all, I still don't want to only see the TDK costume for all of TDKR.
Frankly I doubt thats even going to happen. Nolan does have a lot of control but based on toy sales alone I'm sure WB has asked him to include a new Bat suit. Plus its become sort of a staple anyway.
Not having a new costume would be pretty lame as well. I welcome a new suit.
I still like the 'fit' of the TDK cowl around the jaw area better than the BB one, though. And yeah, it looked bobble-heady, but only from the front, really (which is important, obviouslyAlong with a lighter coloring to the armor a shade of lighter dark gray. Absolutely.
No TDK cowl though. There are big problems with it and something needs to be done about it. Stiff neck and ring necked bobble head are still pretty bad.
A new cowl along with some of the things I noted in combo with your recommendation minus the TDK cowl suggestion would be enough for me.
) the mouth area along with the uber-thick neck on the BB cowl bothered me more than anything on the TDK one, to be honest. On both, I wish the ears pointed more straight up instead of tapering inwards.
Yeah, in BB...probably aided by Bale being a little bigger overall...it bunched up his cheeks quite a bit and looked odd. Altogether, the suit/cowl are the only real downers from the Nolan films for me. But they haven't really bothered me since the films are so good. Both Nolan cowls are pear shaped and the mouth openings are weird, mostly because of all that rubber on his cheeks. His head is burried in there and somethere there's a jaw sticking out.
For some reason i dont like Kilmer's cowl. Its too cutesy. I dont know why. For all their clumsiness, Nolan's cowl were agressive and manly.
