
That's what the movie tells us, yes. Blake and his orphan friends would make up stories and legends about Bruce Wayne, but to Blake they weren't that. He has extremely good intuition.I'm still not clear on how Blake knew Wayne was Batman. I mean, he recognized a scowl on Wayne's face and that was all it took?![]()
In the comics Tim Drake deduced Bruce was Batman, inspired him to keep going and proves that the City needs Batman ("I still believe in the Batman, even if you don't.")I'd imagine more of gotham's citizens could put 2 & 2 together.

It just seemed a bit too easy is all.
Especially if everybody feels it in their bones and stuff....If someone starts to investigate Bruce , it would be quite easy to identify him as Batman.

As I watched that scene, I imagined that his experience as a kid was the beginning of his feeling that Bruce Wayne was Batman. I thought that, as an adult, he probably did a lot more independent investigation- particularly using the available resources of a police officer- that supported his suspicions.
